I'm a PS3 man myself but it looks like you should get the 360.

Maddon 08 - Better framerate on 360

Marvel Ultimate Alliance - More characters offered in the 360 Gold edition (out soon I believe), including guys like Venom.

GTA - Episodic content exclusive to 360 that offers around 20 more hours of play I believe

Possible racing game - Depends, I'd say MotorStorm is the best next gen racing out there right now, but DiRT is pretty similar, and if its pro racing your after, Project Gotham Racing is out now, as opposed to Gran Turismo 5 not out till next year on PS3.

So looks like 360 is your best bet. I mean, not all of what Hippy said was true though, multi-platform games are starting to catch up to 360 standards on PS3, the Darkness being the best example, being just as good on both consoles.

But overall, 360 I'd say, unless you really want Final Fantasy and Metal Gear Solid 4, which probably arn't going over to the 360 at this point in time, despite what people say.

I guess I'll wait for the Marvel Ultimate alliance gold edition then. I like the look of MotorStorm and Dirt too. I think I am going to get the 360.

Yeah, I'd support that choice. The 360 has a good library of games out so far, and it has plenty coming up as well. If you're not into JRPGs and MGS-style games, then there's really no reason for you to pick up a PS3.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance Gold Edition is already available for the 360. I'd say 360 is your best bet, you don't seem to care about the upcoming exclusive games like Metal Gear and Final Fantasy, so why spend the extra cash? Use that to buy games.

X-Box Live is $50/year, when you break it down not all the expensive, just over $4.00/month, for a superior service doesn't seem that much to me.

I'm going today and getting the 360 Elite. I'll be buying Marvel Ultimate Alliance and Maddon 08 for it. And of course the extra controller. So it looks like I'll be spending a crap load of money. I'll probably see if Gamestop has any used games too. Thanks for all of your input on this.

I got the 360. All I can say is WOW. It's a huge jump in picture and sound from my PS2. I bought Maddon 08 and Marvel Ultimate Alliance. It came with Top Spin too. I played a little of both Maddon and Marvel and am impressed with it all. I didn't get the Elite though. I just couldn't see paying a $100 more for it. Thanks for all your help guys! Much Appreciated.

yah, 360 is way better cause it has way more xbox exclusives and gameplay online is way better than ps3
