I finally got Kingdom Come!!

DKR is fantastic....but KC is far superior.

while DKR focuses mostly on Batman, Kingdom Come is pretty much the whole DC universe, including the guardians

It depends for me DKR was a better book for me when I read it because at the time back in the 80"s I was not reading any DC books at all.DKR brought Batman back in to my life so I think it is a better book but I loved KC when it came out too.IF you want to see more heros pick up KC..if you want to see Batman get DKR but remember the story is written from an american in the 80"s point of view.but their both great books

It's a toss between Kingdom Come and Identity Crisis--both are very well-written, well-drawn pieces of art. I enjoyed IC a little mroe because it dealt with hard-and-fast continuity (whereas KC is a "What If?")
