Batman Begins I hate batman begin costume

Jesus christ those look like ****

I agree the Begins cowl was lame. It was way too fat, more of his chin should have been exposed like in the comics and his nostrils should be exposed, it should be more streamline and not so puffy on the sides, brows should be more menacing, and the ears should be in line with the jaws more and slick back a little bit more.

The body was cool, though.

The Begins suit is great, the black armour is like movie tradition. I honestly don't see how they could pull off a Batman movie with Batman in a SR, FF, Spiderman type suit. He would look rediculous. Also what's this talk of (Possible TDK spoiler)
Joker burning the Begins suit with acid, so they move to a material type suit? That's just dumb, considering the Begins suit was everything else-proof, why give all that up for a material suit? Silly silly, that's why the new suit will probably still be rubber.

A movie tradition? You mean a WB tradtion? I don t think people had their say in the design at all! You say he would look ridiculous Batman is the superhero that has by far the easiest position to have a flashy colour with spandex simply because most of the time he s in the dark!

You know If marvel is able to do successfully cap America with his red pirate boots and his shield in the middle of washington DC in the full day light well WB shame on U! I mean don t tell me you cant do a gray and black batman in the DARK! Damn it I m asking to follow the comics book not hasbro!

Sorry but the pic you posted just not good.

Wow those pics with the skinny dude on there really suck but fear not, they have said midway through TDK there will be a significant costume change that will be detrimental to the film. Most likely you will see the black and gray for the first time as it should be.

Exactly, so what possible reason could there be for him to have a lighter coloured suit, if he's going to be hiding in the dark? Aside from being closer to the comics, which is one of the most irrelevent points one could ever argue in this case. If he's going to have a grey suit, you wouldn't be able to notice because he's be hiding in the shadows. So what gratification could you get from it? It's a concept people need to grasp that making the suit grey is pointless.

Armor is the only way to go. As you can see from this picture, you'd have to be as big as Jim Lee's Batman to not have any folds in the cloth/spandex. You'd also have to have muscles the size of a sumo wrestler's to look intimidating. I just can't imagine being scared of a guy dressing up like this. It might work in the comics--but not in film.

Yeah! well about the muscles behind the spandex they did a good job for spider man and superman. And I never said that it should be spandex. I mean it s comics they can find any explanations if they want to . For example batman creat a special tissue and....whatever. My point is when you look at him he looks like Batman 2059 or worse batman year 1300!. I mean where not making an Iron Man movie here! He s not obsessed like Tony is about armoury! Above all his gadgets Batman is first a martial art expert who s not afraid to suffer to save the world! As you know is actually a bit crazy! I do understand that comics is not the silver screen but the gap is too big!

It's called versimiltude, jabroni. The thick immobile rubber of the real world is actually an extremely flexible nomex survival suit. Wich is more beleivable a bullet proof, knife proof, taser proof, fire proof, $300 000 prototype combat suit or spandex?

I completely agree with Antoine. Why do these movie guys deviate from the comics? The ears on Antoine's design are a bit long, but otherwise, his suit looks like something that could functional in real life. Those rubber suits are obviously not made for any sort of movement. The movie producers should stick to the original concept. Reeve's Superman costume was way more authentic thatn the new one with the hip huggers and brownish colors.

The next suit will have more fabric and allow for a wider range of motion... but I doubt it's going to look that stupid. I'm also not sure how gray pajamas are more 'articulate'... or how clothes can be articulate in the first place.

The Nomac survical suit was VERY intricate, did a lot of things well, and was easily the best suit to date, but I still would have liked to see more inspiration. The thick rubber molded suit with sculpted muscles didn't feel very fresh, especially considering actual bullet-proof technology isn't that bulky or cumbersome. Hopefully that's what they're moving away from with the new design.

i really hated the begins suit too, your not alone. it DOES look like a toy company design rather then a movie suit, especially cuz the cape is like a blanket. my favorite design by far is the B89 suit, followed closely by the Returns suit. this is probably # 3, only cuz its 1% better then the sonar suit, although i thought they both sucked.

same goes for the batmobile, i HATE it! B89/Returns one kicks the most ass as far as easthetics go. sorry, but riding on roofs just doesnt cut it. hopefully the new batmobile will be more....batty!

LOL at robo-bat. thats what ppl were sayhin for the begins suit, and now they are gonna be HAMMERING tha stuff on the new one fo sho.

Actually, the response for the new suit is pretty positive so far. I haven't seen many people "HAMMERING tha stuff on the new one fo sho" as you so elegantly put it. I like it because it's a more mobile suit, allowing his head and limbs to be able to swing around faster and more effectively.

Fabric suits work for Superman, Spiderman and The Fantastic 4 because they have super powers. A fabric Batsuit doesn't look scary or tough to me. I like the idea of rubber or rubberish materials I just don't think that a really good one has been designed yet.
