i have a "Spider-Man Magazine" comic from 1994. it is a double-sided magazine, featuring two Christmas stories. one side has an x-men story about Jubilee and Storm, and the other side has a Spider-Man story. i havent been able to find any hint on the net that there even was a "Spider-Man Magazine" the closest ive ever gotten was "Spider-Man MEGAzine" yet i still have a copy of one from 1994. can someone please tell me where i can find some info on this and how much its worth :spidey:

Probably no more then 10 bucks, if that. I'd guess its like 5 bones.

well they have the cover there, but they have the year and the stories wrong

You can see it extends into the nineties though, with the title Font and obvious reference to the animated series

no it extends into 1988. the one i have is from 1995

Here ya go...

Sorry ... I typed in #6... I fixed it.

It is issue #10.

:)

And I wouldn't put much worth in it... reprint books seldom go up in value, and books from the 90's aren't necessarily "gold mines" neither.

:(

how can you tell when a book is a reprint?

Well, a good indication would be if you have a 2006 comic drawn by Jack Kirby, good chance it's a reprint.

Basically all you hafta do is look at the art and story. If it looks older than the publish date, it's a reprint. Most often they'll indicate when it is. Like X-Men and Spidey specifically had their own reprint series. Fer more modern reprints, gets a bit harder but usually they come in collected editions fer $4.99, like the recent reprint of Hulk: The End.

When it has reprinted material in it.... :D :D :D

Seriously, most reprint books (at least they did when I was a kid) would state on the first page in a small box (first told in Blah Comics #XXX)

Though you're right... the stuff within that series might not have been reprinted material. It states "Includes younger reader non-continuity Spider-Man story. Also includes profiles, puzzles, games, and an X-Men story.".

Not all of them. I think Marvel got sick of letters of people askin' what issue was reprinted in Marvel Tales so they began to do that regular.

no. it is NOT a reprint, its a spidey christmas story around 10 or 15 pages long

^it's basically a for-kids spider-man comic. there was probably bios and 1-page posters in there too right? The UK had its own series -- i think spectacular spider-man (?? ), where it would print original non-canon stories. it'll have no effect on 616 universe and probably be worth zilch.no offence, like, but i'll probs find it in my local comic shop's 20p bin..

Spectacular was a canon series. and yeah it had bios and posters

^ no, i know of THAT series. there was a kids brit series that i think had the same title, but it had bios, posters, non-canon stories, kids letter pages etc. oh and freebies

oh. okay. ive found a couple copies of the one i have on eBay. the starting bid is a penny so its not worth much

lol! its probs not, but i wudnt go by starting bids. just watch a couple, they might get a cupla quid. who knows?
