First of all, this has nothing to do with my recent probations or anything of the sort, so you can stop speculating on that.
Here's the question. How does PG-13 translate into regulation on the Hype? In the form of language, content and imagery.
Language wise, we're seeing the line between PG-13 and R being blurred more and more eveveryday. The fact that "*****" or the b-word and "****" henceforth known as the "S-word" are both used prolifically in primetime network programming and movies is something that calls into question the PG-13 standard on the Hype.
On the issue of content, do I really need to go into further detail on what passes off as a PG-13 movie nowaday? Obscene, gross humor, violence, gore, all things seen in PG-13 movies, but something that will get you banned on here for doing.
Imagery. I really have no problem with the Hype's policy on images pertaining to nudity and such. That makes sense.
So in closing, is this site really living up to the PG-13 standard or should we all look for a better analogy for the Hype's Regulatory Policies?
