I just got an infraction for calling a fellow poster an "idiot". The reason I went ahead and said it was because I have been called an "idiot" (and much, much worse) hundreds of times, and the people who did it weren't punished at all, so I assumed I'd be fine. So, I'm wondering, do you all think the word "idiot" is WORSE than telling someone that they are "seriously the World's Biggest Jack Ass" ? Because Matt called me "seriously the world's biggest jack ass", and continued to make many personal attacks on me, my character, my words and my lifestyle, in this thread //forums.superherohype.com/showthread.php?p=13251170&highlight=suicide#post13251170 Now, in light of the fact that they made Matt a MOD shortly after that personal attack on a fellow poster...I'm thinking the rules only apply to some people, and that there's a huge double standard at the Hype. BUT, if Matt received an infraction for his attacks on me, and his name-calling....then, I'll be satisified, and will have to look elsewhere for one of the many times someone else got away with something that I'm not allowed to do here. So, Matt, did you get an infraction when you called me "seriously the world's biggest jack-ass". And, thread-wise...am I alone in thinking there are too many double standards at the Hype?
