I have seen CASINO ROYALE & this is what i have to say (Heavy Spoilers!)

Yeah. I wish Bond 22 came out next year. As soon as this movie comes out on DVD (and I have a feeling sony are going to be bastards and release it late like in April or May) I'm going to be 1st in line to get my copy.

Anyway, I'm seeing it again to morrow and all throughout this weekend.

yeah i am seeing it again tomorrow.oh and btw the dvd is released 28th march

what a brilliant film saw it today and seeing it again tomo, daniel craig proved me right he was everything bond should be and more (that is only my opinion though), torture seen was edited in england due to graphic nature but his reactions to le chiffre in that seen were priceless

all who havent seen it, u really are missing out

just saw the film... won't give away much but HOLY HELL This film BEATS the hell out of Goldeneye... I really hope it's a huge huge huge killer at the Box Office, it deserves every penny and you can see all the labor of love and hard work put in by everyone... Craig TOTALLY OWNS

This is simply a kick ass set up film and Bond is a civilized Beast... that's the best way i could put it, the way the action scenes are filmed, dialogue, colors on print, story (was a tad confusing at points and clunky) but seriously almost everything was spot on excellent for not only a Bond film... but as a film in general... each emotion was so genuine, so well done... damn amazed that a Bond film could actually have depth and some level of pathos

dvd is released on 28th march sounds reasonable enough for a release date. Thank God.

Yeah Bond's reaction to the torture lechiffre's inflicted on him was indeed priceless. One of the things I noticed about Craig's Bond that is similar to Connery's is that they love to goad and wind up the bad guy even in the most deadly situations.
Remember in GF when Bond is about to have his balls shishkebabbed by that lazer? Winding up Goldfinger whilst strapped and unable to free himself.

He doesn't really wind up Goldfinger, he just refuses to co-operate. 007 is visibly panicked during this scene.

For everyone that's seen it, were your expectations high? I will be so pissed if my expectations were too high, although a lot of people on this board have high expectations for CR too...

Absolutely blown me away! I loved it to bits!! Raw James Bond without the fancy gadgets and rocket-launching cars (and I'm a big fan of Bond's gadgets and gizmos).

The metamorphosis from the newly-instated double-O agent throughout the movie to the "Bond, James Bond" superspy at the end was brilliantly done.

Gonna watch it again.

And again.

I really liked it for the most part. I thought Craig was fantastic. I thought the Craig/Green scenes were fantastic.

I was disappointed in other areas. The poison scene should've been cut. The movie didn't need it and if it was gone they would've lost nothing.

The poison scene was good and shouldn't have been cut, again it was 1 of those Bond moments where you think, "Damn Bond aint comin out if this one". His response to vesper as he comes to is classic not to mention lechifre's facial expression and Bond's quip as he returns to the table.

It's good, but once again, the movie, the story doesn't need it.

It was kind of silly to me that Vesper actually knew how to hook the wires up.

Leiter - painfully underused. 2 and a half hours and they couldn't have used a little more time on Leiter. Bond just trusting Leiter as a CIA guy was silly. It was a glaring plot hole. The book did a good job of explaining these things, the movie not so much.

Leiter was indeed underused but it was no loss. Bond trusting him so easily had no consiquences. If anything, the end result was leiter giving Bond another chance to be in the game, seeing as Vesper wouldn't stake him in again. Bond wins but instead of lechiffre being nabbed by Leiter and his CIA crew, lechiffre gets a bullet to the brain anyway. This movie was Bond learning lessons and by the end of the ovie, we know he trusts nobody.

I saw little point in actually re-introducing Felix Leiter then.

Basically, the CIA via Leiter restakes Bond in to the game. No one else around had the 5million to hand over to Bond and Vespe sure as hell wasn't going to do it.

I get that, I think the movie simply did a poor job of plotting it.

In the book, MI6 and the CIA are actually working together on the assignment.

His line when he gets back to the table is a classic.

Yea I know I've read the book about 6 times. Leiter's involvment in this movie should have been a lot more but hopefully he'll get more scene in the next movie.

I actually thought it was kind of cheesy. Not essential to the movie at all. It would've made a good deleted scene.

All James Bond movies need a little cheese but I didn't think it was cheesy at all. It was instinctive wit.

HOLY **** THAT MOVIE WAS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
:wow: :wow: :wow: :wow: :wow: :wow: :wow:

10 out of 10!

the crowd seriously went wild at how ****ing awesome this movie was!

How did you like Mads' performance or is that a really dumb question??
