I've been thinking, Peter Petrelli can mimic peoples abilities so could he mimic the Hatian's abilitie to stop people from using there powers..? Any help much appreciated.

You mean the Hatian right? I think he can only mimc his ability if the Hatian doesn't use his ability first. If Peter were around the Hatian and the Hatian didn't know it and therefore didn't use his ability, then Peter would have the Hatian's abilty.
