Seriously, I get the feeling that some guys who suggest certain actresses for heroines don't give a damn about the character or about if the actress they suggested can even ACT -- they just care about the LOOKS of the actress and if they're gonna be able to beat off to her while they're watching the movie.

Nope, just another one of the millions of people/fans who enjoyed this movie for what it is -- a movie. Everyone I've talked to in real life (something Internet geeks know absolutely nothing about) either enjoyed the movie or thought it was OK, but sure as hell didn't give a damn about the darker colors or the tighter neckline on the suit. If anything, normal people think it's an IMPROVEMENT over the original. Seriously, ANYONE who thinks that the traditional suit (a la the comic books or Donner's SUPERMAN) would work TODAY in LIVE-ACTION is just kidding themselves. The movie would have bombed like no other and would have been far worse and more poorly received than you think it was now...

Every time I come onto this forum, I thank God that anal retentive fanboys aren't in charge of adapting these kinds of movies!
