I still use my PS2

I love my PS2... but recently (yesterday to be precise XD) ...I got a PS3 slim, and seriously... once you get a PS3, you will realize on the AWESOMENESS that you've been missing out on.

That being said, I still own waayy more PS2 games than I do PS3 ones, soo yeah, I'm gonna be playing on my PS2 aswell. lol

Luckily my PS3 plays PS2 games but I cant recall the last time I used a PS2 game. Actually may been last year as I bought X-men Next Dimensions again. I do pop in MGS2 and 3 from time to time

Though I now use my PS3 for main gaming, I still play in my PS2 for nostalgia.

I refused to trade in a handful of my PS2 games when I bought my PS3 last year. I still have all the GTA's, DMC's, Killzone, Burnout: Takedown, SSX Tricky, The Getaway, MGS2, Spider-Man 1&2, NBA Street 2, and a couple others. I could never get rid of some of those.

I was contemplating hooking up my PS2 to my tv as well alongside my PS3, but I don't like the idea of running so much in my room haha. But it'll always be sitting in my closet for me. I wouldn't even mind buying the PS2 Slim since my current one is the phat one, my 2nd phat one since my first died on me. Oh the memories...

I actually bought a ps2 the other day... I used to have the old 60gb ps3 model that played ps2/ps1 games, these days there is no backwards compatibility, so I was missing the opportunity to play older games like Metal Gear Solid and the Final Fantasies. I realized even with today's standards, the ps2 is not that bad...its a real inexpensive way to enjoy a crap load of video games that are still really fun... The only place for ps3 to go in terms of ps4 is building games for 3D/more motion technology....Graphically it looks as if we're going to hit a wall soon, dramatic differences in terms of graphics and game play have started slowing from what i can tell, a lot of games now use the same graphics from their cut scenes as in the game. Sorry I got off topic, yeah ps2 is still fun lol
