I want an end battle to end all end battles!

I don't care how limited the budget is. Refrain from too many action sequences for the first two acts if needed, I don't care.

I just don't want the stiff sensation of climax to go limp before reaching the bursting point (Iron Man).

Remember Spidey vs Doc Ock? What is considered by most to be the greatest superhero battle to be put to screen yet (Nightcrawler White House comes right after, but I digress). I want that, in a blender with the final battle of the Matrix Revolutions, times one hundred for the final battle of this Supes reboot.

My opinion of Snyder ain't as super-awesomely high as many of you, but I believe he can bring the action that most other superhero directors can't/won't/don't/didn't.

I agree. I want to see superman and the villain get knocked through several highrise buildings at once from the power of the punches they're throwing.
I want to see highrises collapse, with nearby buildings having their glass shattered just from the force of the blows being thrown.
I want to see craters in the streets from when their bodies impact it.
I want to see 18 wheeler trucks used as clubs, ships thrown like missiles.
When the camera shows Superman and the villain in midair, I want to see it pan out and show smoke and fire scattered throughout the city.

No kryptonite mountains, no brutal smackdowns from people less powerful than him, no dying in midair, no prolonged periods of him laying unconscious in the hospital.

Not unless its Metallo.

As he and Superman tend to trade some powerfull punches.

The only issue then is the fight is still smaller in scale than you get with say, another being on Superman's level of power.

Metallo is not as strong as Superman, but the Kryptonite evens the odds a bit reducing Superman to TAS levels of power.

Thus resulting in a fight not on the epic level that we could get out of Sueprman with a being that can go toe to toe with Superman full force.

I just watched Superman & Batman Apocalypse and I want Superman to be like that in this film, I loved how aggresive he got when he had to. The fights were superb, something like this would be spot on.

Remeber that scene in Matrix Reloaded with Neo vs a million agent smiths...it felt like it went on forever, and got really boring very fast. There's balance with these things, sometimes less is more, you want to leave the audience wanting more, not so tired of the scene they're ready for it to be over.

Take a tip from Dragonball Z. I will not be satisfied until the earth is cracked in half by the end of the film thanks to the epic battle. I think that's why they have Zod has the villain.

I'm a big Spider-Man fan and I think the Spidey vs Ock fight and Spidey 2 was awesome, but I want the final battle in this superman reboot to make the spidey scenes look like a warm up.

Supes needs to go HARD with an equally strong villain, I don't think we've ever had a live action Superman Movie where the action is just breath taking. That's what I'm looking for in this next movie.

I'm really hoping for this as well, especially with Snyder directing! I also agree with what was said earlier about it keeping whatever battle he has exciting though. That Matrix Revolutions final Neo vs Smith fight started out good, but man did it ever just drag on and on. Toward the end I actually got bored. They need to make the battles epic but focused.
You know, I was watching Cloverfield the other day and for some reason I just kept thinking about Superman. Maybe it had to do with the whole Matt Reeves as a possible director thing which was going on at that time, which I could definitely see why he was considered. But really it was some of those great carnage scenes in the movie, like when the military shows up in the city streets to fight the monster and people are running and screaming and crying. Buildings were getting ripped apart from the weapons and the monster going crazy! I loved it! It was chaos, but it was real which gave those scenes emotion which added to the realism. This is what I want to see in a Superman film. While I was watching I would just think what if this was Metropolis instead of Manhattan, and Superman just came into this scene to start battling this thing as well. How awesome would that be?!
Something like that is what I'm hoping for to see whomever he ends up fighting.
