Ok, I have been in an argument today over a story in the news. Back story here, most members know I'm a Juggalo. I think most people see me as an ok guy too, I don't really know. I also know that most Juggalos don't have a good reputation with members here. The reason I'm saying all this is this news story was posted locally today:

Now for the past few hours I've been in an argument with several people over Facebook over the fact that a ton of hate was spewed because he was a Juggalo. That was what they focused on, not that he was someone who lost his life. Do not get me wrong, if he was on drugs or doing something stupid, etc., I still do not think he deserved death but I don't support that stuff. But it just keeps going on and on about how stupid they all are, and how its stupid to defend one dead person, etc. So am I wrong in defending someone because a life was lost, and defending them in light of them being judged for what music they lsitened to. I don't know the guy, I don't know what his lifestyle actually was, but I think human life should outweigh whatever the guy was into in life. Its kind of like the Amy Winehouse thing, where everyone said they expected it, and how stupid she was. But it was really sad that no one could, or apaprently no longer would, help her get back on track. Her life was over at 27, and that is sad to me, same with this story of someone much less famous.

CAVE-IN-ROCK, Ill. (AP) - A body pulled from the Ohio River between southern Illinois and western Kentucky late Sunday was dressed as a Juggalo, a follower of the band Insane Clown Posse, which held its annual gathering of the Juggalos in Hardin County over the weekend.
The body has been identified as Jesse Waters of Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Waters went missing Friday.
Hardin County, Illinois Coroner Roger Little confirmed Waters was dressed as a Juggalo.
A news release from Kentucky State Police at Henderson state Waters was found in the river in the Sturgeon Island area of Union County late Sunday afternoon. An autopsy will be conducted Monday.
The KSP was also called to the south bank of the river in Meade County on Sunday, where boaters spotted a body. The remains were sent to the state medical examiner's office.
