I would beat that kids ass!

It wouldn't let me post the whole thing. It only allows 250 characters. :( I think I'll keep it 'comment' although changing it to 'signature' would be clever too.

that's balls :(

Look at your post, now look at mine. Now back to your post, now back to mine. Sadly your post isn't mine, but if you stopped trolling and started posting legitimate crap it could look like mine. Look down, back up, where are you? You're scrolling through forums, writing the post your post could look like. What did you post? Back to mine, it's a reply saying something you want to hear. Look again, the post is now diamonds. Anything is possible when you think before you post.

The parents were irresponsible by virtue of the fact that their kid was able to get a hold of their pot. Their fifth grader.

With that said, I can't help but chuckle at the anti-pot crowd. The self-righteous ignorance is hilarious to watch. Probably because I'm stoned.

Id call the parents irresponsible, but not bad....I personally don't see anything wrong with weed, but when you become a parent it ceases to be all about you and raising your child the best environment you can provide...and I don't think that weed is a part of that environment

What ignorance? I know pot isn't as addictive as cigarettes and that it impairs like alcohol and all that other garbage. I just don't care because those aren't the reasons I prefer it being illegal.

If it is legalized ever, I actually kind of hope it's soon, so the craziness of people smoking everywhere all the time dies down before I decide to have children, but not so soon that I don't have time to buy a gas mask so I don't need to smell that disgusting stench.

Your so cute Superferret. You try & I applaud you for that.

I think the very fact that the kid turned in his parents. In some messed up way shows that his parents are good parents. He obviously had a good moral center. Knew the difference between right & wrong. Sadly that bit mommy & daddy in the butt.

I am really worried about the kid to be honest. He literally destroyed his entire family over weed. A drug that at the rate it is going will be completely legal in 10 years.

Once he becomes old enough to realise the impact he had. I really, really hope he isnt comsumed with guilt. How this may affect his relationship with his entire family is also something I am curioius about.

& all because a Dare Officer strolled into class & whether or not pot is illegal. I am sure the cop told plenty of shady truths about weed. Or lumped all the drugs into one big speech. Such a shame.

I would really love to see where this kid ends up in 10 years.

You're an ass, and I won't stop thinking that. :awesome:

I really don't care about this kid or his future, but right now, he did the right thing.

You can think about my butt all you want. Your perversion is none of my concern.

Yes, you made it pretty obvious you don't care about this kid.

How you have not been infracted is beyond me. You even said you don't even care about this issue you are just trying to stir up the pot heads. that is kind of the definition of flaming.

But whatever.

Hmm, kid turned his parents in for doing something illegal. How is that the wrong thing for the kid to do?

I'm not trying to stir up the potheads. I'm arguing that this kid did the right thing and that I, for personal reasons, prefer marijuana stay illegal. The "stirring up the potheads" part is just icing on the cake.

But you're right. I'll stop stirring **** up here. Just don't tell me that I'm an ignorant follower for wanting to keep pot illegal. My reasons are more along the lines of spiteful, concerned ******* future parent that doesn't like potheads and would prefer his future children not be a type of person he doesn't like.

Guess what? They'll find ways to make that happen, even if they don't smoke pot.

I speak from experience as a kid and a parent.

Gotta love blind prejudice. You know, some might equate that with, I don't know....ignorance.

Dude doesn't like weed, doesn't want his kids to smoke it....how is that a bad or ignorant thing??

I don't smoke period, mainly because I had asthma as a kid and I like my lungs clean....tobacco is just as bad IMO

**** like this makes me laugh, mainly because I just puffed a fatty but seriously, lighten up! It's pot, not meth.

and that "pot is a gateway drug" ****, too ****ing funny. lol

<sarcasm>But Blacklantern, if you had smoked it as a kid, your asthma would be gone. It would regrow your hair, make your erectile dysfunction disappear, and you can make a shirt out of it! </sarcasm>

Personally I say legalize it, tax the living ^%$! out of it, and get on to more important issues.

He said he doesn't like people who smoke weed. There's a bit of a difference between not liking weed and not liking people on such a basis. Judging somebody's character based on whether they smoke weed is ridiculous, childish and petty.

well, it also goes back to my statement that parents need to realize that once they are parents, it ceases to be all about them

friends of mine were trying to get pregnant, and when she did...they both tossed out their smokes and havent smoked in the 6 years since the kid has been born

Agreed wholeheartedly.

...counting down the days until the kids move out in twelve years, picking out the bongs they want to buy in advance.

probably...but you have to make those types of sacrifices when you have children

I really think weed should be legal. It really does make sense from a financial standpoint. You make weed legal, put the same restrictions on it as alcohol or tobacco and tax it, the government's making money. Also all those pot dealers they're sending to prison aren't going to prison, a) becuase it's legal and b) who's going to track down a pot dealer and set up a time to meet and buy the stuff, when you can go down to the corner store and pick it up. That's one of the biggest reasons I stopped smoking, I didn't like the hassle of finding the stuff. I preferred being high to getting drunk, but alcohol is readily available, pot isn't. If pot were to be legal tomorrow, I'd probably pick some up tomorrow and it'd probably last as long as a 12 pack does in my fridge, a month or so. It's nice to have if you just want to unwind every once in a while, but it's far from something I'd do (or did) to excess everyday.
