This is a theoretical question, working with the belief by most that Sean Connery did the best portrayal of James Bond. Every actor that has taken the part since has been compared to him, and some people even suggest Connery has what it takes to play 007 til the day he dies. My question is...
...if Sean Connery was ageless, and not in the sense that he ages well like he has, but in the sense that he doesn't age at all, would you want him to play James Bond in every Bond film? Let's say that in every Bond film he wasn't in (On Her Majesty's Secret Service, License to Kill, GoldenEye, etc.),the role of James Bond would be played by a 34-year old looking Sean Connery. He was in Goldfinger when he was 34, to give you and idea of how he would look.
Do you underestimate the importance of casting a new actor? Would the series get stale and bland with just one actor? What're your thoughts?
