lets get this casino royal crap out of the way so pierce brosnan can return, the world over hates daniel craig because hes ugly and blond, and rightfully so, he is! pierce brosnan was the second coming of sean connery but better, every bond brosnan did made tons of cash, now what is the studio gonna do when casino royal doesnt do so hot, its 1 year away and everyone and there brother hate it. there hasnt been so much hate for a james bond film since ohmss with george lazenby, and look what happened there, the movie did bad, and sean connery had to come back to save the franchise. i believe 100 % that the same will hapen in this generation. pierce will come back and blend the series back to where it is supposed to be, not bond begins, bonds not batman and hes not jason bourne, hes james bond, so i beg you mr brosnan come back asap

Pierce Brosnan is my favourite Bond but he's too old play 007 but I would have seen him doing one more bond movie cos DAD sucked badly so he should gone out with a bang.

I didn't like choice of Daniel Craig as Bond but the movie is not out yet so he could be good. Also "whole world hate Craig" I don't think so there some Bond fans are happy with choosing Craig.

Brosnan was starting to look out of shape and show his age in Die Another Day, he wouldn't have work in Casino Royale and he won't be right for a Bond in 2007 or 2008.

    1. "the world over hates Daniel Craig". Wow, that's one helluva generalisation there. Personally, I think there are quite a few people willing to give the guy a chance. There are even more who think he'll do rather well.

    2. "There hasnt been so much hate for a James Bond film". Only from the press trying to whip up a juicy little campaign that will sell newspapers, and the morons who fall for it.

    3. You are a complete cretin.

Pierce was good. His time as Bond has been and gone. Live with it.

I 'd rather he didn't. Not that he was bad but he was a bit old and we wouldn't want another DAF or AVTAK which DAD pretty much was.

True. Even though AVTAK and DAF are closer to the bottom of the barrel of Bond films I still find them fun to watch while I find it hard just to sit through DAD.

are you guys that big of a bunch of ass clowns, daniel craig is truly hated , i dont remember a brosnannotbond web site when he took over, i dont remember tabloids bashing brosnan, if i remember the cover of rolling stone said "the next sean connery?" , without brosnan this film will do bad, the general public are not ready to accept danial craig and the returns will show that. people complain about die another day, but yet that movie only made what 600 million dollars, movies that suck dont make that kind of money, the hulk, that sucked and as a result it made nothing at the box office and there wont be a sequal for a very long time. i still feel brosnan will return after casino, mark my words on this, danial craig will only play bond once

People only went to see DAD because they wanted to see how bad it was for themselves.

I went twice because I didnt beleive what I saw the 1st time.

But OK, I'll mark your words as you request for when the next Bond film after Casino Royale comes along.
I am curious though - if you say Casino Royale will be so bad at the box office there wont be a sequel for a very long time but you also say Brosnan will return - Will you accept Bond as a geriatric?

an older james bond is far more believable then a young one, it takes years of practice and training to do what someone like james bond can do, a 30 year old is less likely to have all that training under there belt, diamonds are forever and a view to a kill james bonds were more believable in terms of what they could acomplish because they were older ands knew what it takes to get the job done, an older bond is a more distinguished bond, just look at some of the older sports stars who are better at 40 then when they were 25 because of all the years of training and experience they have, so i would except pierce brosnan at the age of 65 as bond, hell , ill bet if he was fixed up right and hit the gym a little, sean connery could still play a believable older james bond

Connery was 32 in Dr.No, the youngest of all Bonds and imo in every performance he did as Bond, he made me believe he hd the dexterity and experience to pull off a character well trained in his field.

Ok there are three bonds that deserve the name bond, Sean Connery(obvious). Roger Moore, and Pierce Brosnon. Brosnon was a great bond(period), and I would like to see him stay around for some time!!! so, Pierce please, please, please come back!!!!

Well, the youngest bond wasn't Connery but Lazenby ( he wasn't even 30 when he took the role )

Thats just crazy talk! Brosnan played a great Bond. Timothy Dalton(who we should never mention again), dang near ruined the Bond name, Brosnan brought it back from near destruction. I love Brosnan for that!!!! and thank him daily for it! realize the Bond movies were dying off until Brosnan took the roll, then it was a Bond movie every year, people craved it once more, proof is in the Brosnan Pudding bud!

I lept for joy after Brosnan departed. I tolerated his Bond "performance" for a decade, and it was great to see that man finally leave the role after four films of mediocre results from him, especially when he was capable of so much more. In my opinion, Sean Bean should have been Bond in 1995 - not Brosnan.

But Brosnan's not coming back to this role - and nor should he. He's got a bright future ahead of him and has revealed a caliber of acting he never showed before with the most excellent THE MATADOR. To go back to Bond would be a step backwards for him.

Well, I'm sure I will become a proud Bond fan against after the Craig departure. Being a true Bond fan is really hard since this ass has been cast

Crazy talk? Dont make yourself look any more silly than you are3. Dalton was a better Bond than Brosnan by far. Brosnan's Bond was too linear.
