Heres the question, if they combine, do they combine universes, or do they do like they're doing with Wildstorm and keep them separate, with the occasional crossover?
If they keep it separate, then it wont matter whose second, because people will continue to buy all the comics they had been when Marvel and DC were separate, so even though Image would now be the number two company, their highest selling book would still only be selling like 15,000 units, if they're lucky. If they combined the Universes, well, I think it would still be about the same. Or more likely there would be a massive exodus of fans from comics in general. Would make the crash in the 90's look like nothing.
