If they do the android saga, who should turn up with mecha-frieza at the begining?

In the anime and manga King Cold turns up but i have always been a bit meh about king cold. He was just a jacked version of frieza`s second form. And frieza was the greatest threat to the universe at that point and they have him go crying to his daddy to help him beat the saiyens. Seems lame.

Why not have that Cooler finds him. I mean cooler looks better than king cold he looks...welll cooler than king cold.

Also asking for help from a big brother is far more face-saving than getting your dad to come with ya.

And it also makes for a better character relationship.

King cold goes to earth to help his son and avengee their family`s name.

Cooler would tell frieza that he is going to earth for similar reasons, to maintain their honor and uphold their name. But really he would be thinking to himself "yeah right frieza an infinitely powerful warrior beat you. You are just a runt who got beat by some weak monkeys. When i get to earth i`ll defeat this goku and then i`ll rub your face in it forever."

The sibling rivalry angle seems far more fun. Cooler would be blinded by his own pride and would simply believe that goku beat freeza because frieza is a weak idiot.

But Fox would probably turn Cooler into the American big brother stereotype who gives "Wet Willies" to his younger sibling, calls him "dork", likes porn, talks only about his girlfriend's and desperately wanting to get laid

Cooler doesn't exist in the manga, and even if he did, I'd imangine he's contribute just as much as to the story as King Cold did. That being nothing.

In the way I imagined the Dragonball franchise, I had already the majority of the previous movie building up Frieza as the ultimate, unstoppable evil, who the good guys just managed to defeat.

So for the next movie, we essentially open up with the shocker that Frieza's still alive(dun-dun-dun) and on his way. Knowing what's going to happen to Frieza, I need to spend whatever time I do have to continue building him up as the ultimate evil. And you can't really do that while having him try to impress his daddy.
