I'd thought it would be interesting to do a random poll of users on the hype since it is about one year away from the 2012 election day. The question is simple. Which candidate from president would you vote for to be or to stay the next President of the United States.

Vermin Supreme is the worst name for a President ever. :lmao:

President Supreme
President Vermin

It's somehow worse than Huckabee.

*picks Vermin Supreme for the hell of it*

You've go to go with the guy who has a US flag coming out of his crotch.

All the other candidates are jokes... might as well go for the guy that's intentionally a joke. I voted for Vermin. :oldrazz:

Ron Paul. Only one that can save America. If not him, Newt, Romney, Cain.

Ron Paul has a serious case of "the crazy" from time to time.

This isn't a question for me. Alan Grayson, hands down.

Just a small comment, you forgot Buddy Roemer who is running for President (Frmr Governor of Louisiana. Sure he has no chance, but you might as well list him)

Alan Grayson is too much of a dick to be President.

I don't think so. I do think he sometimes gets overly passionate when he's trying to make a point, but that's exactly what liberals need now, a representative who's passionate about liberal view points.

I can certainly agree that liberals need a representative who is passionate about their views, but they don't need a buffoon like Alan Grayson. Grayson's behavior was an embarrassment to his district and it's the primary reason why he lost by almost 20% for his re-election. Grayson's problem isn't his political ideology or his passion. His problem is that he's a ****ing ******* who has no class. Grayson's behavior was a primary reason why most of the local media endorsed Dan Webster over him.

I think that if Alan Grayson acted more like this, he would have caught on very well:

But most of the time, he acted like this:
[YT]tQh_kmhbPL4[/YT]

[YT]d8Et20hykaw[/YT]

[YT]-usmvYOPfco[/YT]

[YT]bWdyf9eSkqQ[/YT]

I have to say that I'm pleasantly surprised at the results of the poll so far. :yay:

See, I was prepared to defend the first three videos had you brought those up. I was aware of them, and some more, and I always loved that snide and over the top style of provokation he displayed against Republicans and lobbyist. Perhaps I yearn for it as merely a reactionary respones to Obama's spinless nature. None the less, the last clip got me. I didn't know about that one. That was a reprehensible smear commercial, and it definitely took some of my respect from the guy.

But you don't need to be provocative to be passionate and to fight hard for your ideals. Like I said, if Alan Grayson were more like the guy that I shown in the first video I posted, I think that the man would have really caught on.

But the man consistently acted like a *****e. Saying that Dick Cheney had blood dripping from his fangs (and at one point said that he should ****), calling a woman a ****e (while people complain about Hermain Cain calling Nancy Pelosi "Princess"), and saying that Republicans want people to die is just childish. The left does not need such a petty and childish person to inspire them. Don't stoop down to the levels that Michelle Bachmann, Rick Santorum, Glenn Beck, and other politicians and pundits. Alan Grayson was an embarrassment to his district and that is why he lost by such a large margin despite the huge money advantage he had.

You're right. As I said, I think my preferance to him is definitly reactionary to the current situation with Liberal representation in the White House. I think perhaps that I do want to see our side stoop to their level to win, because I see Fox News and many Republican figures using dishonest tactics to sway minds- that it works even- and I guess I secretly yearn to give them a taste of their own medicine; poetic justice in a way. But you are right. That accomplishes nothing. All that does is make me the very problem I want doing away with.

Woah, Alan Grayson is a total balls-out man. I think I'm in love! :hrt::wow: This guy is nuts!! I love it!!

I'm a Democratic Socialist and I don't like anybody in American politics. The Republicrats are all one in the same to me. They are all owned.
