Would you tell people about it or wait until your deathbed?

Well I'd need to give at least three weeks notice to my workplace, so

I'd probably wait until my deathbed before I told anyone.

I’ve seen other people recently who waited a long time and were then very selective who they told slowly. I’d tell immediate family and best friends straightaway and then wait to process it for a bit. Still soon after would talk to everyone before it’s too late (essentially “thanks for making my life better” to everyone). Never know when a terminal illness will take a turn.

Better even to say everything you want to say now (been doing that with family for years) rather than wait for a trigger which might not give time (like a fatal heart attack).

I'm telling everyone fairly soon. Whoever wants closure can get closure.

This is my idea as well. I think the more time you give Family and friends the softer the blow. I was glad I was able to help my mom and grandmother through their trials. I felt like my helping them let them know they were loved.
