The manager of the comic store down the street tells me that it's LUKE Wilson, not Owen, and I talk to this man alot..... HOWEVER, he has no proof, so I will continue to be skeptical.
For what it's worth though.... it COULD work.

But how does he fit into the 'aiming high' category?

PS: Seeing those manips of Bowie, I suddenly thought about steely-eyed Robert Patrick for Dent.
Maybe when he was younger...

I was all for Robert Patrick as Jim Gordon for Begins. Patrick with a mustache in Copland looks exactly like Tim Sale's Gordon. He's a great actor. I'd be ecstatic if he were Dent.

another choice who I would consider "unconventional" would be Will Smith. I would be disappointed if Smith is cast as Dent though. I do think DiCaprio would be considered an unconevntional choice because he is a big name star.....who know one would expect to be cast in such a role.

I wouldn't be at all disappointed if Smith were cast. However it's not gonna happen. He's about to do Tonight, He Comes. I doubt Smith wants in two dark and dramatic super hero pictures.
