Michael J. Fox Plans Return with New Comedy Series

I figured it wasn't going to last. The series couldn't find its footing and the ratings weren't very good. Too bad, I like Fox but this just isn't the series for him.

Damn :(

Well maybe he'll be free to do the BTTF musical in London now

This was a poorly conceived series. Making Fox a local news anchor was the biggest newstep. He should've been a national news guy or someone of the Jon Stewart ilk.

The Parkinson stuff also wasn't really funny. It kind of made me sad to watch it.

You're REALLY hung up on the news anchor thing. I honestly don't think that's the reason this show was unsuccessful.

This show was decent, but Sean Saves the World was funnier. I usually only watched this show cause the woman playing the Aunt is sooooooo hot. Like...whoa.

Oh, you can become a mod again and baaaaaaaan my arse, but I think Sean Saves the World is FUNNY. I think it has to do with the boss, who was on Reno 911.

I need to really give up on NBC. Hardly watch Community, still got like 4 or 5 episodes from ''last season'' on Hulu Plus to watch...Parks and Rec is decent...Dracula is alright...NBC has nothing else.

No real surprise to me. Though I only watched 3 episodes before removing it from my PVR list. I did not find it funny at all and I found the use of Parkinsons as a comedic device sort of sad. Not sure if they played it down after awhile but I had no interest.

(Same with Crazy ones.. I did find it funny... but after a while Robin came off as trying too hard and it lost its appeal to me, I might revisit later if it survives)

The Parkinsons jokes almost completely got dropped as the series progressed. Occasionally they'd do a sight-gag reference to it but no actual jokes I can remember.

What surprised me is, I thought I would love This show and Crazy ones.. and hate Dads... but I love Dads and dropped the other two.

I still watch all three although I think The Crazy Ones is the best of them. I'm more surprised Dads made it this far and hasn't been officially cancelled yet. It was a sure bet it would be the first to go.

Goddamnit! NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!:cmad:

I gave up after 4 or 5 eps, the documentary bits seemed pointless and other than MJF and his wife I didn't really like any of the characters. The whole thing just felt tired as opposed to the Crazy Ones which has fantastic characters that all spark off each other.

I couldn't make it through the first episode.

Quite like it but definitely prefer the crazy ones.

Really liked Wendell Pierce's character though.
