in which episode does clark fly for the first time?

:supes::supes::supes::supes::supes::supes:

I think it's crusade, I know it's the season premiere for season 4. Also it was "Kal-el that flew" not Clark.

You could argue it was the Pilot.

I think it was the 2nd episode of the 1st season that you're talkin about.

yea that was the "first" time if you ask me...but the first time that he "really" fly's and its him, Clark, not Kal-El, it would be the episode in the 5th season where he gets his powers back and fly's to stop the missile that was launched over smallville.

Technically, depending on who you ask, he also "Flew" in Reackoning, and Hidden. :)

true, but to me, him doing it with him actually willing himself to do it was that episode in season 5 when stoping the missile.

although, he said he felt like he was flying in the tornado when saving lana. he told his father that he felt like his was willing himself towards the truck, like he was flying.

the very first time we see him defying gravity is in season one, episode two, hovering over his bed after dreaming about flying into lana's room.

The missile episode was "Hidden", I loved that episode.

You're right, Migu El...

He didn't float in the Pilot, it was Metamorphosis... later he did some sleep flying in Rosetta.

Then there was Crusade and some really big leaps (maybe flights) in Reckoning, Insurgence, Hidden and Lucy.

I think Clark will fly this season.:supes:

he does not fly to stop the missile

from Wikipedia: "A fleeting glimpse of Clark cruising through the air to the ICBM shows his body slightly coiled, indicative of a jump, rather than actual flight; also, his trajectory en route to the ICBM is curved, not straight, indicative of a jump, not flight"

looks like the laws of physics win again, guys

1- wikipedia is hardly a definitive source.

2- if you can believe the guy can fly, isnt it just as easy to believe he can fly with a curved trajectory?

3- all laws must be tempered by common sense

Then technically he flew in the season five premeire arrival when he maneuvered his way from the portal to the phantom zone.

trust me, he was flying in that episode, no giant jump for him. i don't care what wikipedia say's, i trust my own eyes and instints better then i trust them.

oh the joys of independent thought

Sorry if this has been mentioned cause I don't know the names of all epsiodes, but he flwe in the Season 3 finale as well, when he was lifted into the air by the girl she said he was doing it too.

Also Welling flew in Relic even though he was playing Jor eL at the time

Good points, MJD....

He "flew" in Hidden... the trajectory was curved because he changed direction to meet the missile, not because he was falling.

Wikipedia is a joke. Anyone can put up anything in there and, if they make it sound definitive enough, get people to believe its true.
