What I want to know is if the missing footage is integrated into the film? Just watching it will not be enough for me.

i don't think it will be. the director doesn't believe in director's cut or extended edition. the movie in theaters is the final movie, while at the same time, he wants to show all the footage shot.

so i don't think it will make it into the mvoie specifically.

I love the 3 disc cover art.

So the sale of these are gonna determine whether we get a sequel or not?

I'm not too impressed by the cover (Quite frankly it looks like **** and even worse than the god awful Iron Man cover) but the three disc edition is very intriguing. Perhaps it could be the uncut version we've all been hearing about? I'm very excited about this. This was definitely one of my favorite movies of the year. (Just wish all comic book dvd covers would look half decent).

I don't like the cover much. It looks like a video game cover to me. I would like to know what is on those 3 discs though so looking forward to that.

Probably:
Disc 1: Movie/Commentary
Disc 2: special features
Disc 3: digital copy of the movie

digital copies are cool, but that almost seems like a waste of a disc to me.

but hopefully it's A: not a typo, and B: not...

disc 1. film in widescreen.
disc 2. film in fullscreen.
disc 3. special features.

and hopefully there's at least 1 commentary.

digital copy of the film, never works on a Apple mac does it?
none of the one's iv got have (gave up when i got I Am Legend)

*sigh* no room in this world for the mac minority...

also, i quite like the cover - but is it just me, or is the 'Abomination' really a bit of a midget in it? just looks like Hulk beating up his ugly little brother..

...They need to have a feature where you can change Hulk's color from green to gray.. ah..

3 discs-- if that's not the blu-ray version, they ought to have some kind of extended unrated version available.. even if Leterrier doesn't do it himself-- Fox did the extended special cut of Alien-3 without Fincher's involvement...

I have a bad feeling the 3rd disc will be just a digital copy....a lot of movies are adding this now.

NOOOO!!!! I was so excited when I read 3 discs. I thought for sure "There we go! The extra hour will be there. What else could it be?" But I think you're right. You just ruined my day. :(

that is the worst cover. its' just awful. why couldn't they use this. i love this poster.

I think what they are doing is moving as far away from the Ang Lee one as possible. They don't want "dramatic/angsty" they want to sell it as "ACTION/ACTION!" And it does, though they could have made it better.

Has universal released any blue-ray movies im just wondering because i just got a blu-ray player and this is one of the movies really want on blu-ray and now im a little worried because i didnt see a blu-ray release metioned there.

There's no way I'd want that theatrical poster on the dvd cover. I hate when studios use old run of the mill pics, that's all they ever did for the Spidey dvds, and they're horrible. The pic itself for the 3-disc is pretty awesome.

I really hope the TDK dvds have some new artwork.

We know for the TDK there are plenty of UN USED IMAGES so there is no reason for the WB to be lazy

Yes, they've released The Mummy, Mummy Returns, Scorpion King and Doomsday. They also have Miami Vice, End Of Days, Casino, American Gangster, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Knocked Up, 40YOV and more coming very soon.

They have said that all of their discs will feature DTS-HD Master Audio (should be 24 bit). So don't fret about a BD release, it will be there day and date. Aside from releasing the art, Universal hasn't even officially announced anything yet.

thanx

the cover looks cool just imagine how much there going to pack on to those 3 dvds

So if we don't have a blue-ray player, we won't get to see the 70 minutes of footage?

Horrible cover, there should be no question that the one sheet should of been the DVD cover.

so then why did they release the poster in the first place. it's not like it's a manip, it's a n official poster of the movie.

i can understand where you're coming from though, but this cover is hideous.

I thought the movie was solid but could have used more character moments. The theater release was fast paced, but missed a few character developing moments that I thought would have changed the vibe of the movie, and set up future characters that were written in nicely in the script. I liked TDK, but unlike all the character moments in that movie, which started to bore me near the end, I can understand why some were removed from the Hulk film.

Considering how the movie performed, Marvel could have left them in.

It would be great if the extra footage is incorporated into the movie....but I really don't think it will happen with this release. If they were going to do that, there would be a blurb on the cover saying "Director's cut" or "Special Extended Version".....something like that. That doesn't mean that they won't release an extended version sometime later.

If they put the extra footage in as a "deleted scenes" extra....there are people who can "rip" DVDs, and then add them in to the existing footage. Many people make their own "Fan edits" of movies by doing this.

I really think that someone needs to start a thread in Fan Art....for people to post their own creations of DVD covers for all the different comic related movies that people here can download and use for their movie boxes. There are great artists here....and many people always have dislikes for the official releases.
