Have there been any reports on how well the DVD is selling? I just hope it sells like hot cakes, this movie deserves it.

It is such a good fun action movie and it really deserves to be as big a hit as possible.

Transformers sold 4.5 million copies on its first day and ended up selling 7 million in its first week, or $150 million worth in sales. I couldn't find Iron Man's first day sales, but it sold around 5 million copies/$94 million in its first week.

That is definitely a good sign. You also have to take into account all of the copies sold early on.

I really hope w/e decided to give Norton a hard time swallows there pride and does what it takes to get him back. Im already unhappy Rodey was replaced in IM 2, I don't need Banner replaced by some ****ty actor who looks like Norton

Dude, nobody gave him a hard time, there was no dispute or anything. Norton has even said he'd be interested in returning if the script were good, and recently said he doesn't know what Marvel is planning to do.

If thats the case then I feel a little better now but until Marvel makes it official I'll be sitting back with my Incredible Hulk DVD an plate of pancakes waiting anxiously...

Lol, I think that if they do announce that they plan to do a sequel, it still may not be for a while, because they have a lot on their plate right now, unless they actually do have room for one more movie.

My guess is if they do a sequel it'll be another year or so after the Avengers movie, Im not expecting it any time soon an I can understand why but I would like to know that this isnt the end of Ed Nortons

Ha! I told you geeks in the FF boards that Marvel was going to do the same thing in films that it did in the comics - create the Marvel Universe!

Cross-overs and cross-references in movies just like they did in the comics....sheer genius!!!

I forgot to mention that I would love to see some follow up on what happens with Sterns. I dont know a damn thing about "The Leader" but I'm intrigued to see what happens with him in the Marvel Movie Universe

Congrats on the 200th post, and as for Sterns, he basically becomes the Leader in the comics, who uses his intellect more than fighting, because even when he becomes a gamma creature, he doesn't become pumped like the Hulk or the Abomination. I'm sure they'll have Sterns & Abomination working together in this franchise. But they need to come up with a way for Hulk to fight Abomination and be able to overpower him, seeing as Hulk beat him already.

bought it on blu ray, looks beautiful, really love this movie.

that said, i found the hype about captain america in the alternate opening to be a let down, i mean, i didnt expect a full on crystal clear image of him, but i had to watch it 3 times in a row finally in slow mo to actually see what i thought was his shield......


anyway, great blu ray though!

That's bothered me since I saw the movie in the theater. That stuff should always come after the credits.

I think what happened was, a lot of people walked out before seeing Nick Fury at the end of Iron Man. So they wanted you to see everything prior to the credits.

Plus they wanted to capitalize on Iron Man's success...hence why they freakin' spoiled the cameo in tv spots.

Honestly I think they expected TIH to not do as well as Iron Man did so they threw Stark into the movie so that people could be like "Oh snap its Iron Man" I remember seeing a teaser on tv a few days before TIH came out that showed they Stark was in it. Even in my theater people cheered when he came up and I went to a 3 PM showing the day it came out.
