Of course it's impossible. But we can dream, can't we? So let's help each other create that dream. :supes:

We start things off with the established talent:
Brandon Routh as:super:Superman
Christian Bale as:batman:Batman
Kevin Spacey as Lex Luthor
Kyle Gallner as Kid Flash

...throw in a couple of hopefulls:
Morena Baccarin as:ww:Wonder Woman
Ryan Reynolds as Flash
Kyle Chandler as:gl:Hal Jordan
Arnold Vosloo as Black Adam

Then, since it's impossible anyway, why not go nuts:
Michael Rosenbaum as Alexander Luthor
George Reeves as Earth-2 Superman
Noel Neill as Earth-2 Lois

So now that I've got the casting bug again, let's hear some more

Earth 2 Superman - Chris Noth (He looks like an older Routh)

Alexander Luthor - Edward Norton

Superboy Prime - Stephan Bender

wow... I would love to see this movie be made... this was my favorite comic book series.

<<George Reeves is dead.>>
I know that. Hence the "impossible" and "go nuts" parts.

Stephen Bender as Superboy Prime. Why didn't I think of that?

And a couple more hopefulls:

James Morrison (24) as Deathstroke

Christopher Judge as Martian Manhunter

do you think the film be as confusing as the read? what about 52? there's a winner...groan...DC comics right now are the poo.

Infinite Crisis wasn't confusing at all.

And 52 is fantastic.

CB is the first person I've seen to say a single bad thing about it.

Me and friends were discussing the awesomeness of a 52 television series the other day (it spun off from a discussion of the show 24).

Don't change a thing from the comic to make it easier to understand, just a direct translation. Throw in the History of the DCU and character origins at the end of most episodes, but other than that let the general audience be confused as hell.

I think what's so awesome about books like Infinite Crisis and 52 is that in comic form, they are basically perfect. There is no other way to tell those stories which mine so deeply into DC history.

There's no way to even begin to make a movie or a TV series of those books.

It's those little moments

those single-panel strokes of genius

that give all of us chills when we imagine them big and loud on the silver screen.

So when we're casting what would be an Infinite Crisis movie, it is also a way of casting the entire DCU. And in my experience, the best way to cast is by envisioning those little moments. And in INFINITE CRISIS, there are oh so many.

I would put Tom Welling as Superboy Prime for the simple fact you have alot of SV fans saying he should have been Superman and it fits the tone of what Superboy Prime was mad at.

Hes too damn old for prime and definately doesnt look like a younger Routh.

Bender is perfect for it.

Bender is perfect for it.

He is older than Routh - but looks younger than Routh's Superman on Smallville. He would be the perfect Superboy Prime.

No way. Welling never looked believeable as a teenager...ever. He always looked like some grown man dressed like a little boy....like;

Besides Superboy Prime should bear some resemblence to Superman; Welling looks nothing like Brandon Routh, Stephan Bender does.

Plus, Routh and Welling are the same size, and Welling is older. How ridiculous would it be when they're fighting at the end, with Welling playing Superboy?:wow:

I dont think it is impossible. Hollywood has shown they can make Star Heavy Movies. It would have to be a 2 or 3 part trilogy. But it could be done

I loved Infinite Crisis (unlike Final Crisis, which I thought was just terrible). However, if they are ever going to do a Crisis movie of any kind, I would say Identity Crisis is the way to go. Even if they just do it animated, that would be awesome.

Crisis on Infinite Earths:
I greatly reduced the number of characters to avoid confusion.
Earth-1:
Superman(Kal-EL/Clark Kent)-Brandon Routh
Flash(Barry Allen)-Michael Weatherly
Kid Flash(Wally West)-Hunter Parrish
Green Lantern(John Stewart)-Taye Diggs
Batman(Bruce Wayne)-Sam Witwer
Brainiac-CGI/voice of Peter Jessop
Lois Lane-Zooey Deschanel
Jimmy Olsen-Logan Huffman
Lex Luthor-James Marsters
Earth-2:
Superman(Kal-L/Clark Kent)-Chris Noth
Flash(Jay Garrick)-Bruce Greenwood
Green Lantern(Alan Scott)-John Slattery
Specter-CGI/voice of James Earl Jones
Lois Lane-Margot Kidder
Other:
Pariah-Doug Jones
Moniter-Laurence Fishburne
Alexander Luthor-Michael Rosenbaum
Superboy-Prime-Tom Welling
Harbinger-???
Anti-Moniter-???

I think this movie would be confusing to anyone who isn't an expert on DC lore, so its kinda of impossible to make. It wouldn't make any sense with knowing about Crisis on Infinite Earths anyway.
