Insane rumor of the month... MICROSOFT WANTS CAPCOM AS FIRST PARTY DEVELOPER!?

Wow you can't read, ******.

Keeping them together wouldn't have propelled Capcom into financial hell. They were shut down because of finances, which is what I said moron, but the reason for their shutdown can be more closely pegged on a sweeping idiological change in Capcom them then generating losses that truely merited closing.

EDIT: Especially since the closing of the studio obviously resulted in the loss of two of their best creators and a lot of talented staff (who had left Clover as the completion of Okami meant their work was no longer needed on the project).

Only 15 people from closer will be rejoining studio 4. Clover was originally formed by mostly studio 4.

You're right Zenien, I can't read, but at least I can stick to reality in my posts.

Oh teh noes.

Just so we're clear then, closing a section of the company must always equal that part of the company generating unsustainable loses (not true) and if Capcom hadn't closed Clover then they would have been in Financial hell (also not true).

Capcom reported a profit increase of 418% compared to the same time last year even with the extra costs associated with closing the studio, and their profits overall since the formation of Clover have been higher then prior to the creation of Clover.

So really, keep talking your bull****.

And now the two, bristling beasts dance their territorial waltz..

Let us watch, shall we?

I don't recall ever saying that Clover Studios was a money-fueled furnace. I just remember stating FACTS: that it was closed for financial reasons.

And I never said they weren't closed for Financial reasons jebus. They were closed for Financial reasons but the blame can be placed more so on the streamlining measures taking place at Capcom today.

You said

Capcom just had to close Clover Studios to save their financial asses

I said "Clover wasn't losing then that much moeny and Keeping clover open wouldn't have sunk them." and then you said

So when Capcom said the reason they were closing the company for financial reasons they didn't mean it?

Idiot.

So you're free to take back the corner you've painted yourself into.

Oh ho! But this fight between these two majestic mammals isn't over yet!

Maybe you should. It would make this 'documentary' much more interesting. :D

Keeping Clover open wouldn't have sunk them, but they were still closed for FINANCIAL ****ING REASONS YOU IDIOT!

Zenien sees the world as black and white. She thinks the only reason a company would be closed for financial reasons would be because they lost 100 billion a year, instead of simply not being worth the money they cost.

Which I've said like 7 times now and wasn't even something I was argueing against but you can't READ moron.

You're beyond ******ed, if I was saying that then how in the world have I said 3 times now that the reason they were closed was Financial Reasons but it could more directly be pointed at the streamlining efforts within the company that right there is a shade of grey, how ******ed are you.

And according to the streamlining idiology in Capcom today keeping Clover open was worth the cost you idiotic unable to read moron. You're acusing me of

She thinks the only reason a company would be closed for financial reasons would be because they lost 100 billion a year

When ever since this arguement started I've been saying they weren't closed for losing 100 billion. You're a moron, seriously.

I never said or infered financial hell! Only stating a fact that they were closed due to financial reasons

There you have it, Zenien, Capcom, in a flurry of financial moves including the cancellation of 18 games and flat out STATING it was for streamlining (read: making Capcom financially more efficient) kinda puts it right in front of you.

THANKS FOR AGREEING WITH ME YOU ****ING MORON.

I SAID THE REASON FOR CLOSING THE STUDIO CAN BE POINTED AT CAPCOMS STREAMLINIGN EFFORTS NOT BECAUSE CLOVER WAS LOSING THEM TONS OF MONEY.

YOU"RE THE ONE WHO SAID THEY CLOSED CLOVER SPECIFICALLY TO SAVE THEIR FINANCIAL ASSES. WHICH ISN'T TRUE SINCE CLOVER WASN'T GENERATING HUGE LOSES. THE MOVES CAPCOM IS MAKING IS IT TO MAXIMIZE THEIR PROFITS AND EFFICIENTCY OF THEIR STUDIOS NOT AS SOME ACTIVISION STYLE MOVE.

YOU'RE ******ED.

I'm just waiting for you two to break out into a fit of spontaneous hate-sex.

It's like he doesn't even read what he's saying or waht I'm saying, it's beyond ******ed.
