Playstation Insomniac's Spider-Man 2

I don't see why they need to wait for the third game to properly show the Green Goblin, especially if Venom is introduced through Harry. The first game juggled the Sinister siX, Kingpin, Taskmaster and some more. So I think they could also juggle Venom, Green Goblin and the hunter in this game.

Plus if we consider the gap between SM1 and SM2, SM3 would come out in 2028. Thats such a long time.

I am sure there will be more villains than just venom and Kraven just like how the first game had a lot of villains but it was basically two villains in ock and MR. Negative that where the main villains.

Wasn't there a supposed leak awhile ago? I'd need to find it again, but I wonder if anything that person said has been confirmed yet.

The only things I remember them saying were that Harry being Venom is a fake out, Goblin is being saved for later, and that the black suit I'll play like a different character.

I think I know what you are talking about. I think there was some concept art and it looked like it could be real but I think they said it was fan art though.

As much as I like the PS4 suit, the new one is even better. Though, I remember beating the 2018 game for the first time with the classic repaired suit haha. I mean, up until the final battle.

So did I. I love both the classic suit and the main game suit, but I do wish both of them had a deeper red. Looks like that has happened in this game.

I wonder if we'd get all the suits from the first game, in addition to new ones. I didn't care for a lot of the costumes in the first game, but it would be cool if they were able to include them and give us new ones.

I like the white spider more than I thought I would, but I could see them making it black at the end of this game. If Venom or even Pete's own black costume kind of pervert the white spider's perception in-game, it would be a good way to break away from it by making his costume spider black again.

I remember they managed to keep Doc Ock completely under wraps for the first game. It was some dude who did motion capture on the game who accidentally let it slip that Ock was in it during an interview.

This gives me hope Goblin will be the main villain in this one. Sorta like with the first game, where the marketing campaign revealed Mr. Negative in the first teaser and was hyping him up as the main villain while Otto was being saved as a secret bad guy.
Because, oh man, I NEED Goblin in the game. I don't think I can wait for another 7 years to finally see Norman becoming Green Goblin in a Spider-Man game. For some reason, for a character that is considered to be the archenemy of a hero, he's criminally underused.

I was surprised back in the day that neither him nor Hobgoblin appeared in the two PS1 Spider-Man games but that could have been because they knew GG would be the main villain in the first movie so they wanted to avoid using him.

I think the reason for him not appearing in those games was Neversoft and VV not quite figuring out how to do a proper boss fight with flying villains. Hence why Beetle didn't get a boss battle either.
As for this game, I hope Norman is a main villain. Having Otto and Li as villains worked just fine in the first one, I don't see what would stop them from using both, Venom and Goblin, in this one. But yeah, it's mostly because I don't want to wait for 6-7 years for a proper Norman battle lol.

Maybe it can work with Goblin in there as well, but in the end the first game only had two main villains. Goblin and Venom could work, but they seem to be pushing Kraven a bit. I guess we'll see.

Oh, for sure we're going to see Ock again in this series. One boss fight against Ock just isn't enough, especially since Scorpion and Shocker got two boss battles each and Rhino has had three between the first game and Miles Morales.

If they decide for the "Harry becomes Venom" route, maybe that's why Norman becomes the Goblin. He tests his super serum on himself to make him powerful enough to save his own son.

But...you know, it eventually starts to change him and drive him crazy, setting him up as the big bad of the third game.

If the 1st game had sinister SiX, Kingpin and some more. I definitely see Venom and Green Goblin as the big bads of the second game especially when they have two Spider-Men. And I just don't see the need to drag their story for Norman upto the 3rd game, when that game would be out by the late 2020s.

Never heard that rumor, with Insomniac or any other studio. But I think it's safe to say Insomniac has their hands full with Spider-man, Wolverine and the next Ratchet & Clank game.

I'm curious to hear, why would you want a Daredevil game? Personally I think it might be kinda boring. Especially if they make it open world New York. I can only see it kinda working as a linear Telltale-esque experience, except with better graphics and controlled combat. But then again I can't imagine the story being strong enough for it to carry the experience, after we've already seen the perfect Daredevil show
