Can you install a Digital Copy that comes with Blu Ray DVD's the the 360's hard drive?

I don't believe so man. It may be possible to make a copy of that file then move it to the hdd but I don't think u can initially transfer the digital copy directly to the hdd

Yeah, don't most of them need software to play it on, like iTunes or the new Ultraviolet

Digital copies are distributed through the internet anyway.

But even if you have the file on your computer you can't transfer it to a 360 unless it's through like, a media server or something. I don't know why MS doesn't allow copying files but whatever, I just use my PS3 for that stuff hahah.

You can do it with the PS3?

I mean, I guess in theory maybe you could stream it from you PC...unless the file itself isn't even readable by your 360 because I think it'd have to be a wmv. file. I don't think mp4's or literally anything else can be picked up by the 360 unless some media server workaround is used. I'm guessing.

All of this should be way more steamlined, man. Seriously.

Yeah, I have a bunch of TV shows and movies on my PS3. With the 360 you can play media fine off a USB drive or whatever but it just won't let you save it to the HD. I have no idea why they put these locks on the hardware and I don't care enough to ask lol, either way they can both play DIVX and mp4 files.
