Im talking about actors who are in different film roles for different comic book companies.

James Mardsden (X-Men, Superman Returns)
Halle Berry (X-Men, Catwoman)

Do you mind when this happens?

If it's a Marvel and a DC movie (that are set in the main DC or Marvel continuity) that the person appears in, I dont like it too much. I dont know what it is but it kinda bothers me. It doesnt bother me to the point that I wont see the movie but I would prefer that it didnt happen

But if its some other company (Dark Horse, Wildstorm) and some other company then I don't really care

I actually don't like it when this happens.

Provided they fit their roles, I have no problem with this. Clint Eastwood was allowed to play more than one type of western hero. Or cop. So was John Wayne. Humphrey Bogart was fine as Sam Spade and Phillip Marlowe.

The only difference I can see is the idea of franchises.

I’d love to see Christian Bale play Captain America to break that concept once and for all. :cwink:
He's already a star of two major franchises, so hey, why not a third? Hardly would make any difference.
It only matters whether or not the actor fits the role, not what other superhero movie s/he stared in.
Why are you guys bothered by that so much? What’s your logic?

This really doesn't bother me much. I am pretty good at detaching myself from the role they played previously.
