If you're going to leave a lascivious comment underneath a gallery of glamour model lingerie pics informing the world that you're willing to leave your loving family for just "one night" with the gallery's subject, make sure your comments aren't linked to your Facebook account.

One Manchester man had to learn that the hard way after he declared to readers of The Daily Mail that model Kelly Brook was "so sexy" he would gladly "leave my wife and kids for one night with her."

"I hope your wife reads this," responded another commenter, "and the first thing you see when you wake up tomorrow is your belongings packed in a bin bag on the floor."

Well, as hilarity would have it, the man's wife did see the comment, and soon granted the Internet its wish:

My idiot husband forgot his comments are linked to his Facebook account. You don't deserve our beautiful kids and I hope your brother has room on his sofa because I'm having the locks changed.
On the plus side, at least Tom is now free to go after Kelly Brook.

Just goes to show you better think before you leave those stupid internet comments

That woman overreacted and broke her family apart because of a ridiculous statement. I know married couples who joke about "If I ever saw Hugh Jackman in person I'd leave my husband for him" he doesnt turn to her and say "pack up your things, I'm leaving with the kids". They laugh about it and he goes "Yeah if J-Lo walked into my life, I'd have to kick her to the curb".

To me that was a complete overreaction on her part and now their kids have to suffer for it.

Overreaction. Stupid, stupid thing for the husband to say though. Maybe kick him to the couch for a while, not out of their lives.

Well I personally think that was the straw that broke the camels back. I highly doubt it was just the comment but if it was then ya it was def a dumb move on her part. More than likely she was putting up with all kinds of crap and this was her excuse for kicking him out

It sounds completely stupid to kick him out of the house, her life and her children's lives over a stupid, likely exaggerated comment but like DJ said, there's got to be more to it than a single poorly left comment to justify in her mind throwing him out.

I agree. It's a stupid comment and she was right to be upset , but at the same time not something you would typically end a marriage over. Unless this was the final straw after several incidents I think she overreacted.

People make comments like this about celebrities all the time. On the surface, she ridiculously overreacted.

But we have no idea what was going on in their relationship.

This is the only logical explanation. Maybe he's been a dick to her and the kids their whole relationship. Maybe he says stuff like that about her friends or girls he sees on the street as well, in which case good riddance.

They're both idiots. Him for posting a comment that could be seen elsewhere by his wife. Then the wife for taking such a draconian stance against the comment. :whatever:

Granted, it sounds as if there was more going on in the relationship "under the covers" so to speak, but really...?

I'd leave his wife and kids for one night with her.

Must not have been a very trusting relationship if something like this would end it. Most couples can joke about something like this pretty damn easily.

To be fair though, Kelly Brook is absolutely stunning. A pure Goddess.

I'd do the same, KB is fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine

Now, this could be the straw that broke the camels back... But it's a really stupid straw.

As a women, I can understand where the wife was coming from. Doubtful this was the only issues they were having in their marriage. And truly, it can take just ONE little thing after years and years of other crap for someone to say, "The hell with it."

Yeah I kind of think it was an overreaction as well. I've heard tons of women say they would leave their families for Chris hemsworth or David tennant but they obviously don't mean it

I think the fact it was public was what hit the most. You can say that you will leave your wife/husband for some actor or so and so, but FB will ruin all that because you have no more privacy. Get rid of FB people and save your marriage/relationship.

The guy was a fool. Say you'd want to bang her all you want, sure, but drag the wife into it, saying you'd leave her and your kids to be with her? Just unnecessary...

I have to admit...this is humorous in a morbid way.

I bet this is one of those fake stories. The internet has gone Vince McMahon.

But sometimes though...reality is stranger than fiction.
