Good read but check this part out:

How can you get involved with Smallville@CBR? It's easy, simply e-mail Jonah Weiland with the subject line "Smallville Questions" and we'll consider your questions and remarks for inclusion in next month's edition.

May be Gough will answer some tough questions and not these softball ones.

Is this a new picture

It is new to me

yeah I think its new...

I don't think so. Kara is in 12 of 22 episodes. Lois is in 12 out of 22

Hmmm Kara is going to be around 8 of the first 10 episodes.... I wonder what is going to happen to her....

She probably just wont be around & Clark will say something like "Kara is at the Talon" or something. Like how we never saw Oliver after he left in Justice but he was mentiod up the wazoo

That pic is from last year's episode, "Static," during the fight with Batista:

Well Ollies last episode was Justice and he was saying a goodbye to Clark and Chloe.... You know... "Off to save the world"

Kara gets benched for a couple of episodes, and you will see why, I won't spoil anything.

hmmmmm.... Maybe Bizarro trapped her in the Phantom Zone... :woot:

He was still mentioned in name afterwards on alot of occasions & the same can be done for Kara.

My guess is 'tough' questions will be avoided at all costs.

True. but maybe if everyone keeps asking the same tough questions , they'll have no choice but to ask them if that's all they get.

I know AgentPat brought up a good point in the Welling as Superman thread about why can't smallville use Batman/Bruce Wayne if there's going to be another batman in JLA.

Did Gough really give that interview? They were the most well thought out answers I've seen from him yet. Some were still a little confusing, but for the most part it was good.

Thanks for posting it Mercboyz.

Gough actually comes off somewhat likeable and sincere in that interview...somewhat.

Agreed. I think that's the most sincere I've ever heard him be in an interview. He does better when he doesn't try to make with the funny.

Why oh why didn't they ask about the possible season 8, and what they are going to do when they lose half the cast?

Why would they do that? It's pretty much a certain thing if the CW wants to survive.

Lose half the cast? I wasn't aware Rosenbaum represented half the cast lol.

"And Lana has just got back into town. Her story is going to get more interesting and a little darker." - Gough

Darker?! :csad:

Geez... in Season 2 Whitney died, and Clark freaked out and left her... in Season 3 he stiff-armed her all year and the other guys she got close to were psycho killers... in Season 4 she was possessed by a witch... in Season 5 Clark pulled away and finally dumped her (rather cruelly too) sending her into the arms of Lex... in Season 6 she was drugged into thinking she was pregnant, lied to and forced to marry the monster... and I'm not even counting all the times she was almost killed and sent to the hospital!

How much freaking darker can it get for her?! :csad:

I'm NOT liking how that sounds.

Someone should stop kissing their butts and ask when the show will move forward with more mythollogy and Clark heading towards Superman. Why do have to watch a terrible episode like the last one?

Hehehehe... It does blow my mind how people can watch a series of events and see them from completely opposite points of view. ;)

And he even paid a compliment to Tom. That's always a win/win for me.

It worried me too, Cap. :(

As bad as that can sound, I think its actually an organic development for her character. I mean, schitt, who wouldnt become darker after the hell that she's been put through.

I just hope, that Clark can help her through it all and Lana become a better person because or inspite of it all.

I like your positive thinking. :)
This all goes to a longer and much more in depth conversation I've had about this with other people in other places. I'm worried about what they will do with Lana's character now that they have to establish good reasons for her and Clark to separate, but I'm hopeful it will all work out for the best.

I've been discussing it too, and my thoughts were that I would rather see Clark end his relationship with Lana on a positive note, and not because they were all kinds of wrong for each other.
