anyone ever think tat maybe the hammer drone from the minimates could be whiplash armored up? i mean its the only human shaped one and has details like eyes
just speculating here

sorta but i think whiplash will look different in his showdown with iron man while war machine might be fighting that drone or many drones..

i noticed that drones face has black marks around the eyes that look like Hammer's glasses. Not trying to say Hammer is in it. The just something that really jumped out at me for some reason.

What if one of the things BW "acqires" for Gov/SHIELD is the Mark V (red/silver) armor case and in turn falls into the hands of Hammer which in turn then becomes available to be modified for Vanko giving him a more Crimson Dynamo look? It provides protection and gives him his traditional colors. Just a thought.

THOR CAMEO IN IRON MAN 2 ??????

The most stupid news of the year. Congratulations to badtaste.

1) Iron Man 2 - SHS Series: Final Battle (Mark V - Ivan "Whiplash" Vanko - Armor Drone)

2) Iron Man 2 - SHS Series: Hi-Tech Showdown (Mark VI - Hammer Drone - War Machine)

Have to admit i'm getting bored with all of these damn toys....

Have to admit i'm getting bored with all of these damn toys....
This should cheer you up:

Jon Favreau: "Iron Man 2 is coming down to mixing sound and getting in all the visual effects." - http://***********/Jon_Favreau

He's been comenting like that on twitter for a few weeks now...

I don't mind all the news..... i just wish it was more movie focused than toy focused... that being said, i'm glad we are getting information on the movie...

Also Mickey Rourke will definitely be armored in his second battle because on Wednesday he had a scene where he had to do an evil walk. Mickey had on his same Whiplash costume(Whips and all), but this time he had the same tracking markers that Robert had when he was in the half suit, inside Randy's Donuts. The tracking markers will be used for the CGI that will make up crimson dynamo/ whiplash armor.

so i guess he will be half armor and the big ass mech suilt is just a toy.. but i wonder why we havint seen a half armor whiplash toy i mean we have already seen the other iron man armors

Source? Link?

any word on dat??
i hope there is a trailer...
There literally has to be a full theatrical trailer. The film comes out in may so **** it should for all intensive purposes arrive with alice and wonderland or shortly there after. Right!

I just realized:
It's obviously Rourke. He's not wearing a shirt in the scene. He has a long hair. He has the facial hair.

It's obviously him.

Doesn't this suggest that Tony wears the Mark V in the "Final Battle" against an unarmoured Whiplash?

Don't think so...

Let's see, shall we?

Vanko was in a French jail. And filmed a scene in a jail.

The pictured person is wearing no shirt. In the jail scene, Vanko wore no shirt.

The person has long hair and facial hair.

It all points straight at Ivan.

Except the fact that the tattos are missing and that the haircut is obviously different.
Go figure

Dude that is not Mickey Rourke. Why would Tony walk pass him if Ivan was right there. And I hate people are speculating that is Chris Hemsworth. It is Not. The guy who it is, is named Mark Kubr. He plays a "prisoner" in the film.

lol, you guys are arguing over a prisoner who Stark passes on the way to meet up with Ivan? Nice.

I posted this in the Avengers Forum but I think you guys would be interested in it too. This News is Front Page Worthy:

Now...:meanie: .... Wait for it....:awesome:

As much fun as Iron Man 2, Thor and Captain America should be as individual films, comic book fans have been waiting years for the granddaddy of them all: The Avengers. Many have expressed qualms about the film's prospects, fearing the possibility that such a crowded field will take away from the story, and have labeled it unfilmable. If done right, however, it has the potential to blow us all away, giving us the some of the greatest superhero characters of all time on the same screen. We are still two years away from the project, good or bad, but this latest development makes it feel so much closer.

Taking to his Twitter account, Joe Quesada, editor in chief of Marvel comics, tweeted:

"Definition of 'goose bumps.' Pressing enter and watching a screenplay entitled "AVENGERS" come out of my printer."

Less than a minute later, he said, "It's official, I have the greatest job in the world.
" Zak Penn, whose previous comic book movie experience ranges from X2 and The Incredible Hulk to Elektra and The Fantastic Four, has been attached to write the project for some time now, but this is the first announcement that has suggested that the script has been completed.

Unless we are reading this entirely wrong, this is huge news for the future of the Marvel film franchise, which now has solid footing past next summer's releases. Sure, it is probably only a draft and will undoubtedly go through some, if not many, rewrites, but physical form now exists for a screen version of one of the greatest team-ups in comics history. Up until now, the only insight to the writing process has been Penn saying, "It's hard to make a good movie. We all have the best intentions, and it still might suck," but that was almost nine months ago. We can hope that he has gotten something resembling courage and confidence since then and will bring us the Avengers film we all want.

The biggest concern is Zak Penn's name in bold in that story.

Good grief man.

The person not wearing a shirt had NO tattoos. Vanko does.

The person had long BLONDE hair and a full blonde beard, Vanko had dark hark and a small goatee.

Tony walks PAST the prisoned man and goes into a different room with Vanko. How did Vanko get in there so quick? He have teleportation powers as well?
