I really wished this theme was used again in Armor up sequence in IM2. It was so awesome in movie 1.

I was a bit bummed RD didn't come back for IM2. Debney did well though, he cooked up my 3rd favorite score of the year (1st is HP7, 2nd is Kick-Ass).

I will agree though, I missed elements of the first score such as the above clip.

^Its funny, when I first heard the score in IM1 I found it pretty underwhelming and thought it was the worst super-hero score in a while, but it grew and grew on me in the 2 years between that and IM2, so I was dissapointed as hell they changed it. Its not as if they changed it for something better in IM2 either, the score in IM2 is very poor, and the main character doesnt even has in own theme!

Iron Man has his own theme in the second one...

IM2 is sooooo much better. RD is typical RC trash. Iron Man 2, while far from reaching it's full potential, has some excellent compositions.

I have to agree with the above poster. I find IM2 score to be much better then the first and I hope he is back for IM3.

I find both to be somewhere around the same, but the first was probably a bit better than the second. RD did awesome, I adored his love theme, and that was something I was pissed Debney didn't bring back.

Out of curiosity, the music that plays over the part where Tony watches the reel of his Father isn't on the official score at all is it? I really like that piece.
