Iron Man 2 Iron Man armor - Official Discussion Thread

I never understood the logic or aesthetics of the granov gloves. He draws that huge "lump" at the upper part of the hand, then a big prosthetic over his wrist and that leaves the scrawny part in the middle. Doesnt make sense to me. Especially when he draws a light on the upper "lump" in the comics.
The MK3 gloves were perfect. Especially since there was a yellow part in the forearm to actually make it look like a glove.

What I don't get is the color change of the center power circle heart thing. Where's the awesome blue of Iron Man 1?

Perhaps it's just a dull yellow for the promo shot...I hope so.

Is that a still from the movie or a pic from Comic Con?

I like the Mark IV design a littile better. It looks like a natural step from the Mark III and it looks a bit more sleek. I'm just not sure about the gold trim on the ab section. It's destracting and unecessary.

Its definitely slimmer than the Mk3 so it looks more advanced, but i cant say that its pretty. And what i find distracting are those gold pieces on his shoulders. They look like he is wearing a t-shirt under his sweater.

Yep, now I'm certain I like the mark IV the best. The newer gold-red color scheme doesn't distract me at all.

i dont know if you guys have seen this but it is a spoiler..

it does look great but i like how the legs looked on the first one

i do see what your talking about, the chipped paint and every thing, on the thighs and lower legs also on the bicep as well

BTW what do you think the odds are of a stealth armor (cameo at least maybe we can see him experimenting on it)?
