This as a pretty good pole as the results are not too dis-similar.
Personally, I am anticipating seeing the Surfer more. I have always loved the Surfer because he was always such an epic and majestic charcater...which is really what worries me about him being in the next Tim Story FF movie. I just don't see him beign given his due. A Surfer movie HAS to be epic...and judging from the first FF movie....I'm doubtful.
On the otherhand, I think Iron Man has a shot at being really good.

I know...I feel like I should start preparing for disapointment right now.

That pretty much sums up my feelings as well. SS is really too good a character to be done by "Tim Story".

While "Tim Story" is a working director, he definitely does not bring that epic feel to to the FF that they deserve, and most definitely what the Silver Surfer or Galactus would deserve.

Absoloutly.

Iron Man, but I'm interested in Surfer as well, but more Iron Man.

Weta Digital to Create Silver Surfer FX
Source: The Hollywood Reporter September 24, 2006

20th Century Fox has picked Academy Award-winning visual effects house Weta Digital to oversee the upcoming film Fantastic Four: Rise of The Silver Surfer. The studio tapped Weta to create a state-of-the-art version of the Marvel Comics character Silver Surfer.

Noted character actor Doug Jones (Pan's Labyrinth, Hellboy) will provide performance and movement references for Weta, in a process similar to the way Andy Serkis portrayed Gollum in the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy. The voice casting of Silver Surfer has yet to be determined.

The Hollywood Reporter says Weta has developed an advanced computer-generated animation process that employs motion-capture techniques updated to add further dimensionality to the liquid-metal hero.

Doug Jones Talks The Silver Surfer

The Doug Jones Experience caught up with the actor the site is devoted to and got a few new words about his character in Fantastic Four: Rise of The Silver Surfer. Here's a clip:

I am thrilled out of my mind. It has been so difficult for me to sit on this developing news, with all the casting speculation happening on the web. As my research into this character continues, I am falling more and more in love with him ... his valiance, his nobility, his stance for truth, hope, faith, and his history of self-sacrifice. So I fully understand why his fans are talking so much about his introduction appearance in this sequel, and why they would be concerned with who plays him.

Iron Man. I love the Surfer, but Story's proven he cant properly handle classic Kirby creations. Not even that, but Surfer is such a cold character, its hard to see him working in a live action film.

A SILVER SURFER MOVIE SHOULD AND MUST COME AFTER AN INTRODUCTION IN A FANTASTIC FOUR MOVIE.

THERE WILL MOST LIKELY BE A SILVER SURFER SPIN-OFF. THIS IS PROBALLY ONE OF THE FEW THINGS THAT 20TH CENTURY FOX IS DOING RIGHT.

wow...I don't feel that way at all. The Surfer is one of the most deeply philosophical and passionate characters in the MU. That's what immediately made him popular with college kids in the 60's. In fact, I think that is why Stan has gone on record as the Surfer being his favorite character to write. I'd say along with his Spider-man stuff, the Surfer was Stan at his best.

Iron Man. After seeing what Tim Story did to Doom and the FF, I'm not holding my breath for his version of the Silver Surfer.
