Ive been thinkin about it and i saw it in Wal-Mart for 20 bucks, but i dont want to buy it if i will completley hate it, oh yeah and was there more than one season?

Yes its good its part of the timmverse so of corse its good.

Cool thanks bud. Oh yeah one more question is there an episode where batman meets the Jla in the future?

Oh yea crap and was the return of the joker in the series or was it a seperate movie?

crap one more question in season 4 of Batman is Nightwing in a decent amount of episodes?

I don't really know I think he is 3 or 4 but I really hate season 4 so I can't really answer that.

Because there was a slight drop in quality from the excellence of Seasons 1-3 of TAS. It's still a very good show, IMO at least, but some people hate it for not being as good as the rest of BTAS' seasons.

What season 4 I don't know if you want, go ahead but to me I pretend it never happened.

It's pretty consistent as far as seasons go. Not one episode is really bad, unlike Batman and Superman.

?? You've got it backwards, but I think I'm gonna pick S1 up sometime soon. I remember liking it for a while.

I still think Batman and Superman are the better shows, but season 1 of Batman Beyond didn't have a single weak episode, in my opinion. Rather, I shouldn't have said that Batman and Superman have really bad episodes, but weaker ones.

But maybe that's because others are so strong. In comparison, they just don't measure up. I'm thinking Critters and The Underdwellers, just to name a couple.

Why do you hate season 4

Because people are pretentious.

Anyway, Nightwing is in:

You Scratch My Back
Over The Edge
Animal Act
Chemistry
Old Wounds

That makes for a total five.

is it worth buying?

Definitely. It's excellent/great/good/fair/average/poor episode ratio is actually stronger than the other volumes, and it holds the honor of Bruce Timm's favorite season of the DCAU. It also has Over The Edge, which is just a legendary episode.

Oh, and Batman Beyond is definitely worth the buy. It's probably one of the most consistently strong series in the DCAU. And that's saying a lot.

Awesome. I had read something that said they had no plans to release JLU anytime in the future. That was either incorrect, or maybe just a while back.

All of these shows are brand new to me, since I sort of gave up comics in my high school years. It figures that I get into them right when the JL meets its end. And the DCAU, for that matter.

Definitely excited to see these for the first time.

Batman Beyond Season 1 is definitely worthy of a buy. If you are new to the animated DC universe I recommend watching some of Batman TAS to have an idea of the backstory. The first season was solid. The second season was much longer but a few of the episodes had you scratching your head thinking wtf (Rats, Hidden Agenda, Terry's Friend Dates A Robot, Eggbaby). The third season would unfortunately be the last but was as good as the others. The reality is it will never surpass the original animated series but I recommend it.
