well today i woke up and i was thinking about when my grandparents were still alive and a memory came to mind that i will never forget.i think it was wal-mart,i went with my grand parnets and they bought me a batman and robin figure of one of freezes goons,i think i still have the figure,so in that case,no matter how bad the movie was, batman and robin is the most memorable to me because that was the last batman movie that my grandparents seen and probably one of the last batman figures they bought me

Burton's movies are most memorable to me, because not only are they my favourites of the Bat movies, but I grew up with them too.

They're what got me into Batman in the first place.

Batman Returns considering it was a 12 and my father made a big deal about getting me into watch it, last time i sneaked into a film underage, i tell ya...

:o:o

overall those, It has to be Mask of the Phantasm. Watching that was like witnessing the birth of Jesus Christ.

BATMAN, since when I was a wee lad, it was practically an obsession. I used to watch it every damn day. Adam West got me started, but Michael Keaton made sure Batman wasn't a "flavor of the month" for me.

Batman Returns - I watched it every day. Didn't have the first Batman on videocassette but when I got it... hehe!

Yeah, ALL the animated bat flicks are real good including the batman beyond *return of the joker* one. :wow:

Batman 1989 I was a fan of the character from about the age of 5 when I started watching the Superfriends and catching reruns of the 60's TV show and Filmation cartoons. My uncle started me off on the comics however it was Batman that solidified me as a bonified Batman fan. That summer was amazing, even the year leading up to its release was exciting. For you guys who arent old enough to have experienced Batmania in 1989 you truly missed out on something. Id love to relive that again. I remember going to the theatre on opening day being the first in line and just being captivated the whole 2 hours by that movie. Yeh, for me, its 1989.

Batman 1989. The first Batman movie I ever saw. It was my first exposure to "dark" Batman.

Baman '89. I remember watching Superman: The Movie and Superman II over and over and over and over when I was a kid. My parents would bring me all the lame 80's cartoons that sucked and Superman: The Movie/II, which I had become obsessed over. Then, as usual my dad would go to the video store but this time he brought me something different, all it had was a yellow oval with the shape of a bat in it. Then once the end credits hit, I kept rewinding it and watching it again. So now I'd be watching Superman: The Movie, Superma II and Batman non-stop. Now I'm a massive comic book geek nd Batman is still my favourite movie of all time.

Yeah, I remember the summer of '89. For those who can't, I'm sure you remember 1999, where everywhere you went, it was Star Wars. Every shop was full of Star Wars. The world became a huge Star Wars store. In 1989, it was the same with Batman.

I remember 1999, I even had Star Wars markers for school. Not to mention the star wars lunchbox and giant sticker book. :O

Batman & Batman Returns. I grew up watching those movies, and reading the comics. It still saddens me, that I lost "A Death in the Family", when we were visiting grandma.

Death in the Family should be easy and cheap to find online or at your local comic shop/bookstore. :batman:

I didn't say, I dont have it. I did buy it again.

I just said I lost it when I was 5 year old, or something. You know, child's mind is a fragile thing. :ninja:

I was a Batman fan before Burton's movies but B'89 is something that brings a lot of memories, from the huge media hype over Keaton's casting and the plethora of merchandising involved, every kid had a Batman shirt or a cheap knockoff version of it.

I remember getting the Topps trading cards but I only managed 28 cards, luckily I got a hold of the whole set a few years ago.

Ha! Great pic sir! I always felt that Peter Stormare (voice of Dracula) would've been a terrific Joker for the BB sequel. :wow:

Batman 89, then BF, because of the MASSIVE marketing campaigns, posters, and of course, toys (I was still a preteen back then).
