What do you mean to be "square"? Do you mean someone who holds beliefs and virtues different from your own and cannot allow themselves to have as much freedom as you for the sake of those beliefs? Its not that those people have a problem it's that YOU have a problem for those people's virtues. Leave them alone and go find decadent people like yourself instead.

only to a very small degree, it shouldn't be the dominant part of your general behaviour.

everyone should have niche hobby they are square about but when it comes to other things it certainly isn't.

if by "square" you mean someone who isn't "the norm" then yes, yes it is hip.
