...to meet a nice, smart, good looking guy who has a thing for winter sports, mountain biking, music and is secure in his love of superheroes and star trek?

I mean there's got to be guys like that out there going "man, if I could only find a nice girl who likes superheroes and star trek."

I think I just want to find someone I can be dorky with and I'm worried that it won't happen just the way I want it to.

i'm everything apart from good looking, winter sporter and trekie...

i say it's impossible

Babs, you have no idea as to the wave of testosterone-laded posts that you're about to unleash. :ninja:

U know I feel the same way...except Im looking for a woman with that....

Haha, I'm not that hype-naive.

is it too much to ask for a mean blonde who's only purpose in life is to demean men, make fun of them, talk down to them, humilate them... enjoy movies, watch stupid shows like lost and Simple Life..

oh wait.. that's holly. :(

*shrugs*
Why do you have to find a guy with all the same exact interests as yourself:huh:

...Aren't you the same person who was crying about hooking up with some camp counselor?

It makes it a lil bit easier...less fighting.

Like find a girl who watches college basketball...that is heaven.

Than one who nags the **** out of you for watch the UNC vs Duke game...

Nope and thank god I never have. I'm not much of a "hook-up" girl.

You made a thread about trying to get with someone you felt you had no chance with...

....yeah... O_O

those are just a few of my interests. from experience (either personal or from friends/family), if i don't have some major things in common it doesn't last.

That was a year and a half ago.

And your point is.....?

don't mind her Babs... Oak's dream is to have sex with a cartoon.

Historically it's either been this or that kind of. I'll meet a guy who seems fantastic, loves being outside, kids etc... but then can't really relate to me on that dork level. At all. Or the exact opposite.

Isn't there a happy medium out there?

Again, Jeff Mistich.

there is... and what I've learned in my many adventures in life is we find things when we're not looking for them.

I have no interest in anything meaningful.. so I end up with bimbos... not like I'm complaining...

I'm a guy who enjoys superheroes, music, etc. :cwink:

Even though not a hobby, I can do a nice bike ride :cwink:

The winter sports and Star Trek are no-nos though :o

I don't think it's impossible Babs. I think you just need to know where to look.
