Is it wrong for me to like the Wild Wild West

Even though it was not one of Will Smith's best movies I still enjoyed the movie and don't see why there was so much hate for the movie.

I don't really like that many Will Smith movies:

WW West
Hancock (didn't see it but heard it was cornball)

MIB 2
even Independence Day, I am not a fan of...

I do like him in Baggar Vance and Pursuit of Happiness. And his new drama looks great.

No offence, but I watched some of it again recently with my flatmate and it's actually worse than I remember...

Then again I've never been completely convinced by Will Smith films. He's usually the best thing about them but that's because the quality of said films can be mediocre at best (I Am Legend, Hancock, Independence Day)

The movie is terrible, period. The jokes were flat, the characters were one-dimensional and bored (except for Kevin Keline), and it wasted talented actors like Smith, Keline, and Banaugh.

Why do you think Smith turned down The Matrix to do it? Men In Black essentially made his career, and he figured it was a better bet to work with the same proven director, than two brothers who only had a lesbian crime thriller to their credit that might as well have been an indie movie.
