Is the cure temporary or is Magneto to powerful to cure?

I'm leading towards Magneto being too powerful. I didn't like that chess scene... they filmed it weeks before release and it's way too ambiguous. The only way I can look at it in a positive light is if Magneto is now so proud and grateful to have what little bit of power he has left, that he won't risk losing it again.

HOWEVER Magneto sure does have reason for a personal vendetta against Wolverine now.. I mean, if I were him and were able to get enough power back, I might do something so crazy as try and get revenge on him, maybe even rip that remarkable metal out of his entire body..

I believe Magneto is simply too powerful to be cured. As we all know, it was he who had the most gratitude to be a mutant and have his remarkable powers. Imagine being him, one of the most powerful mutants in the world, raging a powerful war against the humans, the people who took him from his family, and are now threatening his existence... and suddenly having your powers torn away from you by some dumbass with claws. I believe he's spent a hell of a lot of time sitting in that park, working on regaining his powers day in, day out. And now they are slowly returning. He lived an incredibly long life, using his powers to the full extent... I don't believe a few needles filled with a 'cure' could possibly take away his powers.
