Twas confirmed at the IDEF 2006 that it would be coming to 360 and PCZenien said:I haven't seen any official confirmation (it wasn't running on a 360 at E3 like say TXB wants you to belive it was a PS3 PC Devkit). A lot of unofficial rumblings, and Peter Moore saying it was coming to the 360 about almost 2 years back (I think). Granted he also made it sound like the 360 was geting edxclusive GTA content, and that turned out to be a lie, who's to say how the AC situation changed from when Peter said that.
Chances are good that it's a timed exclusive (3 months? 6 months? 1 year?) for the PS3, or an exclusive, but based on Ubisoft history it's most likely a timed exclusive. I can't see them not porting it to every platform under the sun, unless Sony has negotiated an exclusivity deal.

Ubisoft: Assassin's Creed Still PS3 Exclusive
by Greg Bergen
Recent controversy regarding whether or not Assassins Creed will go multi-platform has once again been debunked by Ubisoft.
French site xbox-gamer.net reported that during the Interactive Digital Entertainment Festivale (IDEF) 2006, Ubisoft confirmed that Assassin's Creed was currently under development for Xbox 360 and PC. However, in response to the reports from the French website, a UK Community Manager going by the name of UbiRazz has been locking the speculative threads saying, "Ubisoft have confirmed no such thing. Assassin's Creed will come on PlayStation 3 and at this time, no other platform has been confirmed."
With this latest piece of multi-platform evidence debunked, Assassin's Creed is still labeled as a PS3 exclusive by many. It is only fair to say that Ubisoft has never made an official statement regarding whether or not the game will be exclusive, just that it's in development for the PlayStation 3. Ubisoft has not changed their stance on this heavily debated subject. Since Ubisoft does have close ties with Microsoft, it's quite possible Xbox 360 owners could see a version of Assassin's Creed later down the road. For the time being, however, PS3 fans can still hope that Assassin's Creed will be an exclusive.
Because I know that you would consider IGN a "reputable news site", and that IGN and TXB share all the same sources and such, being the same company and all. They're extremely reliable, moreso than most, and if they didn't have "Xbox" in their name and you were forced to just accept the things they say instead of writing them off as fansite drivel on the name alone, you'd be singing a different tune. And Peter Moore would not have said "this content is exclusive" if they had not confirmed that there indeed would be content that WAS exclusive, do you honestly think Peter Moore just walks out on stage and makes **** up? He's not Ken Kutaragi Zenien. Microsoft is not Sony. Teamxbox is not Gaming Age. Get a grip.Zenien said:Not according to Rockstar.
TXB isn't a reputable newsite anyway, I don't see why even you are trying to say they have credibility.

From what I heard, the game is almost completely different than what the trailers showed.

Three times? Link them. Prove them wrong. GPU Embarrassment? Where? When? Prove that any of this happened, please. And I sure hope this "GPU Embarassment" isn't them saying "The 360 gpu is good" and your sony buddies saying "lol no it isn't" or something like that. So please, provide an instance of Teamxbox doing any of this. If it's so common place and widely known, surely this will not be a difficult task. And by the way, the "Inquirer" that they use is this, a reliable source, not the tabloidZenien said:It's a safe bet that it's coming, but the 360 version at E3 was debunked a while ago.
I know you like to ignore them taking sources like inquirer as fact, and then juicing articles up with things that aren't included in the original release which is more often then not totally unsubstanciated (and they have done this three times in the past year), heck they're don't even bother to verify their sources, all this led to the big GPU embarassment, among others. You don't even look at their news page by your own admission, so don't pretend like you followed the happenings.
But I know you don't like to believe that TXB has seperate people behind the news devision then IGN, so stay in your own little world.
As for GTA...
Moore didn't say "Sony will not get content" in the first place, he only said "Microsoft WILL get content". Big difference there, rendering the whole argument that he somehow lied null and void anyways.Episodic content for the PS3 release has not been ruled out. On being asked whether episodic content will be exclusive to the X-Box, Peter Moore, head of Microsoft's Interactive Entertainment Business division, is quoted as saying "You'd have to ask them that. They're not going to tell me what they're doing. I don't know".
As for his GTA gets exclusive content, it's a bit closer to the truth that so does Sony, confirmed on 1Up Yours several months back.
