Three times? Link them. Prove them wrong. GPU Embarrassment? Where? When? Prove that
any of this happened,
please. And I sure hope this "GPU Embarassment" isn't them saying "The 360 gpu is good" and your sony buddies saying "lol no it isn't" or something like that. So please, provide an instance of Teamxbox doing any of this. If it's so common place and widely known, surely this will not be a difficult task. And by the way, the "Inquirer" that they use is
this, a reliable source, not the tabloid
Wow that shows just how out of it you are if you think I was refering to the tabloid.
As for the people behind the news division being different, that's great, I'm sure whoever said otherwise has learnt their lesson. That whoever is not me. I said they and IGN share the same SOURCES, and they do.
THeir's a difference between sharing any similar sources, and pulling stories from unreliable websites and including even further condeming acusations that were never even in the original article which was taken down and disproven yet TXB posted it anyway. As per their GPU article.
They were also the last ones to amend the news, and the Inquierer, as in the website, is not reliable, and TXB didn't even bother to confirm the validility of the article before posting it. Defend therm all you want. Their incompitence and bias is right there in that link. There's more to TXB then just making 'mistakes'. Sorry to say.
So, basically, The Inquirer (which despite your unfounded beliefs based entirely on this, is an accurate source, everyone makes mistakes) said something. Teamxbox wrote an article that said "this is what the Inquirer said", which was factually accurate, as the site did indeed say that and all comparisons and comments made thereafter were also accurate relative to the information given. And when the information was proven to be a mistake, they corrected it, despite the ease of sweeping it under the rug and leaving everyone laughing (moreso) at the PS3s hardware. You're right, what was I thinking, what a bunch of liars and spin doctors...
Except they added speculation to their own article that had no place in a news report and was bat**** insane, along with being the very last ones to take their juiced up article down when all the other sites had. If you were around, the author of the article (posts on TXB) refused to take it dowen until he was contacted by Nvidia directly.
It's nice to see you have no clue, Denton, gift of the silver tongue and all that, but you're flat out wrong here. Period.
TxB also took down their "Slow and Broken" article as well, good for them, at least it's a step up from the GPU fiasco where they were the very last ones to take down the article they put up while it was being taken down elsewhere.
You're so blind it's not even funny, they ADDED content to the report they copied from Inquirer, as in added a bunch of "But this means the PS3 GPU could be even WEAKER then the Inquirer articles suggests, along with some very shipshop technical breakdown that was riddled with mistakes".
That is NOT a dependable newsite, valid newsites don't bias their own news (which TXB does) or pick up unfounded rumors from a site that's one step removed from Sponge (which TXB does).
The Inquirer WEBSITE has a history of being unreliable, it's no sponge, but it's considered in the same league. But believe whatever you want, I won't stop you, I'm sure you'll have a few partagraphs or something in response, but accept this fact, you are wrong.
TXB doesn't even include their original article for reference anymore.
