If you believe a greater power is going to destroy us because of our conduct then we are obviously living on borrowed time . I'm not worried about any epic disasters because it would be pointless , there isn't much you could . damned if you do , damned if you don't .

It's not as worse as other events in history. Example WWII..and obviously WWI. I reckon it will always stay like that.

I'm not gonna touch the "Are we going to hell?" thing at all, but I will say that if we are, we're not heading there any faster or slower than we have before.

I understand the current state of the world and why people may find it disappointing, but I don't see why people honestly believe that things are any more barbaric or unfortunate now than they have been throughout the rest of human history.

Do people not pick up a history book these days. There have been huge plagues, wars and raping, racism, sexism, famine for thousands of years.
If anything things are a lot better and more comfortable these days than it has been for centuries.
