^^thought you did'nt like it? but yeah blue beetle, he does'nt really have to die, but i wish they would've done something better with it, the direction they chose kinda sucks. I'm just not digging it.

When did I say that? I just said he was a little bit too stereotypical for me, but it seems theyve actually have plans for him.

I think Freddy Freeman should bite it and Billy should forever remain the Captain. I'm quite sure Elvis would kill me for saying that, though.

Elvis would come back as a ghost and punch your liver out. :o

How about Ultra the Multi Alien?

Haha no, that would piss me off.

Personally, Supergirl and Jason Todd could bite it and I'd be happy.

How about Grace or Thunder from Outsiders?

nah, they're alright characters.

i want to see batwoman, supergirl, the new atom guy, and jason todd needs to go. they bought him back in a real shnitty matter.

long live bucky!!!!

Damn you. :D

Schott kicks ass when written well. He has layers and layers of good potential for even the worst of writers to work with (unless they just decide to outright kill him off one of these days). From the struggling-to-recover-pedophile, to the dark psycho who was obsessed with his mother and killed Cat Grant's son, or just the plain nutjob with a freak-on for toys, the original Toyman has endless possibilities.

Screw his cheap imitations.

Seriously, was the new one from "Up, Up, and Away" only created to give Luthor a goofy sidekick like the movies seem to deal him? Was there actually any other pupose to introducing this new guy usurping Schott's title?

I like Cat Grant too. Where the fudge has she been all these years?

God, Superboy probably punched her out of existence. :(

In the end, it was revealed that the "new" Toyman was in fact one of Schott's robot's on loan to Lex because Lex needed Schott's technology, and he was presumably blackmailing him.

Yeah, I got that, but I just don't see why they bothered with that instead of just bringing Winslow himself into the story. From a writing perspective, it seems pointless to introduce an entirely new character when one already exists who can serve Lex's needs.

That's why I'm assuming that they created the new Toyman for the sole purpose of comedy relief in that story.

Probably. Still, Schott rocks. A dilusional man child super genius obsessed with toys and easily driven to carry out his revenge fantasies is good in my book.

I like Hiro, but not as a replacement for Schott. Simply the guy who builds withngs for Batman who happens to have the same nickname.

I want to see this "new" Batmobile from morrison's Batman.

I pick a character that hasn't had a story in 40 years and we still find a fan. Yep, it a hopeless goal to find an unlamentable character. Oh, and by the way I am in favor of any version of the original Supergirl. Power Girl on the other hand I don't care for and wouldn't miss.

Varient will hunt you down and kill you now.

Really? Even a version who's pretty much a complete 180 from the original's personality? I'd prefer no Supergirl than a snotty, pugilistic ***** who flies around doing her best Hal Jordan impression on every superhero she happens across.

The first version had her attitude problems in the beginning too. They were milder than this one of course but it was a different era. Rebellion is part of adolescence. We need to wait a little while and see if the character keeps on in the same direction or begins to settle down. Power Girl had a real attitude problem with E-2 Superman for a whileas well, so there's precedent of a sort.

Rebellion is a part of adolescence, yes, but being a snotty brat isn't. That's just being a snotty brat. Tim Drake's an adolescent and he's found ways to rebel without punching every other superhero he meets out and generally being an ass. Same for most of the entire Legion of Super-Heroes. Precedent or not, she's still an obnoxious *****ebag, which--crazy me--I find unappealing in a hero. More power to you if you dig her, though.

The thing I love about GAH is its never hard finding reasons to hate him, he just gives them to you.:o

**** yeah! Throw Ravager on that list as well. Dirty carbon-copy of Deathstroke. Go, GAH!

What about Male carbon copies of already established characters? Like Superboy-Prime?

We haven't even seen Power Boy yet and I already hope he dies. Preferrably in an alarmingly horrific fashion.
