Is there an even more hated proffesion than THE METER MAID?

O.k this morning i had yet ANOTHER run in with a Meter maid, it seems to be a regular thing with me.

So i pull up to a parking spot, and am looking through my ash tray for some change. When i look up and about to get out the car, there stands a Meter maid in front of me writing me up a ticket!...wtf!

I get out and calmly explain to her that i just pulled into the spot, and was looking for change. Her response was "Oh, well i've already written it up. It will mess up my count if i cancel it now!" What a ****ing *****!

I was this close from ramming that ticket machine down her ****ing throat.

God i hate them.

Don't know. But it's not the first time. Meter maids in my area are ssssoooo ghetto. They play by their own rules..plus the hassle of the appeal and whatnot would be a pain in the ass.

It happened exactly the way i descibed. In other words, she didn't know i was still in my vehicle while she was writing the ticket. Then once she saw me, in her mind, it was too late to cancel it.....

"Too late to cancel it" doesn't seem like something someone COULD say to someone and have them believe it. What you are stating she did is illegal... I have my doubts that it happened exactly that way...

I've never had a run in with Meter Maids. Memphis hardly has any parking meters.

No I know about "bad apples" more than you know. Just because I doubt the validity of your story doesn't mean I am taking sides or making any grand statements about Law Enforcement, all I was saying is that that attitude doesn't seem to be very professional at all, leading me to believe that she is incredibly stupid and on her way out of a job or that your story happened in a different way. That's all... I didn't know you were black though... THAT changes everything... I'm sure you were also doing drugs and beating women, so you got off light...

There is a Meter Nazi that works in the city I work. Unfortunately, in this city there is somewhat of a Main Street and most parking is metered. But she is f'ing like Batman sometimes, there and out before you can even get your takeout back to the car.

Some of the metered parking you have to go to a pay center now.

So every Wednesday I have to go to the pay center, which is only $0.25. But I think I ran to and from the comic book store and she came up to me asking if I paid. I showed her my ticket, she still didn't believe me until I think it actually registered in the pay center.

But yeah...I got caught for $19.00 once.
