Is this a discussion forum or what?

I thought this was a discussion forum, but i feel the mods (or whoever) are trying to stop people from discussing things, and i really don´t understand why. Yesterday i was having a discussion with a member about a subject, and now the thread got locked. What´s up with that? It was a heated discussion, but there were no insults, so i don´t understand what´s the problem with letting the discussion go on. Is anybody being harmed because two guys are having a good discussion about Batman?

I don't really visit the Batman forums very often, but my impression is that mods have been cracking down pretty hard over there lately. They're known for being a little...chaotic.

On the other hand, the Hype! mods like to keep things boring. Even small amounts of controversy and/or conflict tend to send them into a confused panic.

not it isn't, last post was 2013. Only been bumped due to people still voting in it, the poll should been closed long time ago

My bad, was reading the 1st page and not the last. Most likely closed due to much bickering from batfans liking one movie and not the other

At least it could have been merged. It gave me the impression it was simply to end that particular discussion. I´m pretty sure the thread didn´t become old today.

Can you merge the threads? At least the posts from the last 48 hours.

Speak for yourself. If people were discussing the subject, it´s because they wanted to. You don´t have to read it though.

Merging big threads can make it messy, so no.

It was closed due to some petty bickering and since we had another thread of the same that one was closed
