A long time ago, some scientist dude somewhere theorized that it's possible there is in existence infinite dimensions. Time travel fits well with that theory. If there are indeed infinite dimensions - for every choice you make, somewhere there is a dimension where you made a different choice.

Interesting. Who said that the distaters we are seeing RIGHT NOW aren't more? We have no way to know because, if you theory was true, then we wouldn't know how many there was to start with. Therefore what we think is the NORMAL amount of distasters might in fact actually be MORE in comparison to how it might have been before the timeline was tampered with...

the past has already happened...the future is what is yet to happen...the present is what is happening...depending on where in time you are the past always has one constant, as does the future. the present on the other hand does not, it is different for everyone. from this i draw the fact that the present in only a thing made up by somedude in a lab coat that started his explination with "now listen carefully 007..."

if someone can clean up what i mean feel free...i'm bad at explaining things..

if the old future ceased to exist and never happened, then how did the guy from that timeline ever come back here in the first place to stop the event from happening? and if he wasn't there at that moment to stop it from happening, then it would happen.

If you travel to the future you are still in your own present but in the future of everyone from your own timeline.....so there is some sense in the present being "different for everyone" point.
