Isn't pornography just a form of legalized prostitution?

I don't think porn is a legalized version of prostitution at all. For one thing both parties are getting paid. When you go to a hooker, you pay her. In a film, both performers are paid.

I for one love porn. Don't know why, but i do. If i added up all the money i've spent on porno since 1994, i've probably spent enough on it to buy myself a house....or two.

Free porn FTW!! I've only ever bought one porn movie, and it was too expensive for what it was. Over the years I've had passes to a few sites, and I'd say only one was worth what they would charge, if even. I mean, it's just masterbation. No sense in throwing mad amount of money on that. Is it hypocritical or unethical that I wanna watch porn but not pay for it? I'm not sure. But I do know that porn is generally too expensive.

Which, on a side note, is why I think the site I'm a part of has built such an empire in recent years. It offers the spank bank (and a relatively tame one which makes the accomplishment more impressive) while integrating it into the new fascination with online-community.
