It Lounges - - Part 126

It's amazing with how many people Littlefinger backstabs on a regular basis that no one has thought, "hey ya know what? This guy is a threat best eliminated." Whenever he comes to them with a proposition.

Everyone wants to kill Littlefinger but they need him for a little bit and he books it before they get around to killing him.

Meh. Plenty of people have had chances to kill him.

And I think a lot of people know what he is--Lady Olenna, Roose, even Cersei--but they don't realize just the sheer extent and how much he plays everyone and how much **** he's directly or indirectly responsible for.

I mean, Cersei would have had him killed by now if she had the faintest inkling he orchestrated the murder of her son.

I kind of laughed when Cersei and Littlefinger were discussing Roose Bolton, and Cersei said "we were fools to trust a turncoat". Said to the biggest serial turncoat in the Seven Kingdoms.

I guess the scene works well enough, but that moment's still goofy as hell to me, lol.

Well it wasnt goofy in the theater. Whole theater lost its ****. My friend is still terrified of that thing to this day. I sometimes text him a gallery of pictures and Ill hide that gif in amongst the pictures.:p

There is a very similar moment in Insidious 3 that had my audience screaming. Stuff is just scarier in a dark auditorium with a massive screen and loud audio system.

I do have to kind of admire Littlefinger's sheer audacity. Dude has the King killed and makes off with Sansa Stark, goes slithering over to Winterfell and delivers her to the Boltons as a gift to bolster their status as Wardens of the North (while also hinting to her to kill them), then scurries back to the mother of the king he had murdered and tells her about it (just conveniently leaving out the fact that he was the one who gave them Sansa in the first place), and then asks her to make HIM Warden of the North.

Guy's got gall, you gotta give him that.

If Jeffrey Archer wrote ASOIAF, Baelish would be the hero of the saga.

Well, "hero" is kind of a relative term in Game of Thrones anyway.

The only really straight-up heroic figure is Jon Snow. Who honestly I usually find less interesting than the morally ambiguous characters.

Oh yes, no doubt a dark auditorium makes a difference. Maybe that's why I just can't get into today's horror movies, because I never go see them in the theater.

Got my spaghetti sauce simmering on the stove, got the Stanley Cup game on in the background and about to catch last Sunday's GoT so I can be caught up for the finale this weekend

If I had a baby when I joined this site, it would be 12 years old.

So I am going to Disney World for the first time next weekend for three days (June 19th-22nd). I wanna get some advice from some people who have been to Disney world before. What what would be some MUST DO's at each park? Here is my fast pass selections for rides so far.

Friday June 19th
Magic Kingdom

Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin

Haunted Mansion

Space Mountain

Saturday June 20th
Hollywood Studios

Toy Story Mania

Star Tours

Twlight Zone Tower of Terror

June 21
Animal Kingdom

Kilimanjaro Safari

Expedition Everest

Dinosaur

Other than that, I plan to just sight see as much as possible at each park and visit Downtown Disney. I know I won't see or do everything just because of the shear size of Disney World and my limited amount of time there. Most say it takes a week to see and do everything at Disney. But I did score a lunch reservation at Be Our Guest Restaurant that Saturday. But any other must do's you all would recommend?

I damn near grew up there and Universal. My mom made tv shows and commercials growing up so I was there a lot. I also used to work at MGM Studios (Now Hollywood Studios) after high school too. It has been some time since I've actually been to the parks so not sure what has changed as of late but if you focus on the parks you're going to you can def get to all the rides in each park in a day no problem. Pro-tip when you get there in the morning head to the back of the park and work your way up, it works out a lot better than following the crowd. My fave ride when I was a kid was Pirates of the Caribbean but if that haven't updated it (which they may have due to the movies) it could be a bit cheesy for you but still a good time. At Hollywood studios you def have to catch the Fantasia show at night, it's pretty dope. I don't really remember anything about Animal Kingdom. I would stick to the parks though because they will give you the most bang for your buck. Downtown Disney is cool but EVERYTHING is expensive as f***. No lie you can drop a few hundred bucks on a night there and only catch dinner and a show. One thing that is really awesome Downtown is the mini-golf, it is truly awesome and well worth checking it out. There are 2 courses and one is like animated stuff and really cool while the other is a scaled down replica of their PGA golf course with mini sand bunkers and trees and everything, it's a really different mini-golf experience.

Heh last Time I was at Disney World Epcot was ALMOST done...lol

Cool! My fast pass selections seem soild so far. The most popular ride it seems is Toy Story Mania which can easily have like a two hour wait time during the summer months. I am stoked about having the fast pass for the safari in Animal Kingdom. They say it's as close as you can get to a real African Safari. I heard Downtown Disney was fun but expensive.

If I had a baby when I joined this site, it would be just old enough to ask me how I was biologically able to carry a fetus to term.

I originally came here cause of Brett Ratner and Jon Peters on the Superman film. Made some fan trailers, and now I feel older than crap.

I'll be honest. I don't know why I bother coming here. I'm not friends with anyone or anything.

I ordered my dad his father's day present from Think Geek today. Got him the tactical chef's apron. He does a lot of grilling out so I figured he would get a kick out of it and it looks cool, the bonus was it's on sale for $20 right now so can't beat that. Here is the link if anyone else has a grilling dad and needs a cool gift for him:

I love grilling, but I never saw the point of an apron.
